Birla Hospital, Confrence Room

Abhimanyu stood near the window crossing his hands, watching the hospital’s entrance from a distance. He was still annoyed by the earlier scene with Aarav. He had scolded him enough, but he knew the boy needed more discipline when it came to college. He could feel the weight of responsibility on his shoulders, not just for Aarav, but for everyone at the hospital.

As if on cue, the door creaked open, and Aarohi peeked inside, her eyes wide and nervous. She stepped inside hesitantly, holding the file in her hand. She knew exactly why she was there, and from the look on Abhimanyu’s face, it wasn’t going to be a pleasant conversation.

Abhimanyu turned around slowly, raising an eyebrow at Aarohi. “Aarohi, I need to talk to you,” he said, his tone stern.

Aarohi bit her lip and took a step forward, her heart racing. “I know, I know. I messed up. But Bhai, it wasn’t entirely my fault!”

Abhimanyu crossed his arms, his expression uncertain. “Not your fault? Aarohi, you were supposed to be at that important case discussion this morning. Where were you?”

Aarohi looked down, trying to come up with an excuse. “Uh… I overslept,” she mumbled but looks like the stars were not in her favour and Abhimanyu heard it.

Abhimanyu’s eyes narrowed. “Overslept? Aarohi, you’re a doctor. People depend on you. This isn’t some joke.”

Aarohi fel guilty, knowing he was right. “I’m sorry. It won’t happen again, I promise.Pakka!!”

Abhimanyu sighed.“You need to be more responsible, Aarohi. This isn’t just about you anymore. It’s about your patients, your colleagues. Everyone is counting on you to be there.”

Aarohi nodded, her face serious. “I know. I’ll do better, Bhaiya.Just forgive me one last time”

Abhimanyu’s expression softened slightly “I’m not scolding you for the sake of it, Aarohi. You have potential, but you need to take this more seriously.Mujhe bharosa hai tumpar”

Aarohi gave him a small smile. “Thanks. I’ll make sure I don’t give you another reason to scold me.And Haa I promise ki main aapko kabhi disappoint nhi krungi”

Abhimanyu nodded, though he still looked unconvinced. “Just don’t let it happen again.”

Aarohi nodded and turned to leave, she bumped right into Neil, who had been standing at the door like he’d been waiting for this moment.

“Looks like someone got a lecture early morning about responsibilities” Neil teased.

Aarohi shot him a glare. “Shut up,Chamgadar khi ke. You’re the last person who should be talking about responsibility.”

Neil raised his hands in surrender, chuckling. “Miss Chipkali, I’m a responsible businessman now, remember?”

Aarohi rolled her eyes, but a smile formed on her face. “Yeah, sure you are.But tum still ek Chamgadar ho”

Abhimanyu shook his head at their banter, a small smile breaking through his serious demeanor. He turned his attention back to his work, though he still could hear Neil and Aarohi bickering outside the door.
