It's been 4 days since I'm back in here but my heart and mind is still lost . Sitting in my apartment, I glanced around at the boxes still unpacked. The city felt different, as if I were a ghost in my own life. The sounds of children playing outside reminded me of the laughter I once shared with Aadi.

Rooh , our little angel, played quietly in the corner with her toys . At two and a half years old, she resembled Aadvik more every day—her dark hair and grey eyes a mirror of her father. I smiled at her, but a pang of longing for what could have been gripped my heart.

I had returned to this city hoping to find my footing again, but the shadows of my past loomed large. The weight of my decisions crushed me, especially when I thought of Aadvik. I missed him more than I could admit, but the fear of reopening old wounds held me back . Especially after dad & bhai visits me yesterday .

Their words still haunting me . Aadi can't hate me , do he ? I can't lose hik forever, I can't lose my world .

Flashback:-

Dhriti was in the kitchen making breakfast when the doorbell rang. She thought it might be Mahi, so she hurried to the door with a big smile on her face. But when she opened the door, her smile quickly vanished at the sight before her.

Her whole world came crashing down as she saw the men standing there. The men who were the reason she had to leave the country, the reason she was separated from her love, and the reason her and Aadvik's world fell apart.

"Dad - Bhai," she muttered, her voice trembling with both hatred and fear.

" Come on Dhriti, won't you invite your Dad and bhai  in ? ",Purav (her brother) said mockingly with a smirk.

" Do you even forgot your basic manners, Dhriti ?" , Her father chimed in as they walked inside, brushing past Dhriti to the side, while their guards remained outside. Dhriti stood still, bracing herself for what was to come next .
