"Y/N, you there?" Amira asked, giving her sister a nudge. "Yeah, sorry, I just got distracted," Y/N replied with a sheepish smile. After three long days of driving from Belgium, they had finally arrived in Meknes, ready for a well-deserved vacation. The plan was to spend three weeks in Meknes, the city where their parents grew up, before heading to Beni Mellal to visit their aunts and cousins. Settling into the family home, they unpacked and started getting comfortable before deciding on dinner. In the salon, Y/N, her younger sister Amira, and her older brother Ayoub sat discussing what to eat. "Let's get tacos and Hawaii pizza!" Amira suggested, her eyes lighting up at the thought."Absolutely not; let's get burgers," Ayoub countered, his voice playfully firm. The debate continued as they tossed around ideas, laughter filling the room as they settled into the first night of their vacation.
Second day
It was a sunny day in Meknes, and the family decided to enjoy breakfast outside, indulging in msemen, atay, harsha, and other Moroccan favorites. Later, they headed to the medina to soak in the vibrant atmosphere. At the medina, Y/N and Amira were browsing through gandoras, admiring the intricate designs, while their mother examined the gold jewellery, seeing if any pieces were worth the price. Their father and brother Ayoub stood nearby, amused as they watched the women of the family eagerly surveying the goods.Amira pointed to a pink gandora and asked the shop owner, "Ch7al hadi gandora?" The shopkeeper replied, "35 dirhams." After a brief debate, the sisters decided to buy three, totalling 105 dirhams. After paying for the gandoras, they met back up with their father and Ayoub to check if their mother had decided on any jewellery. She was eyeing a gold necklace, contemplating whether to purchase it that day or wait. It was priced at 2,000 dirhams for a simple design, though she eventually chose a more intricate one decorated with subtle emerald and diamond accents.
