Izuku's Worst Nightmare

It was the night after the good news. The three Rangers were finally able to see All Might again.

Izuku: HI ALL MIGHT!

All Might: GACK! Too loud kid!

There was a couple nearby that overheard them.

Clover: HE'S JUST KIDDING!

The couple seemed bummed out.

Rangers and All Might: Phew.

Katsuki: Ya gotta be more careful.

Izuku: I know.

All Might held up his hand.

All Might: Congrats on getting in, Rangers.

Izuku: I couldn't have done it without your help!

He high fived All Might.

All Might: Speaking of which, I didn't tell anyone at UA that I've been training you boys or anything. Really. I wasn't one of the judges, and I didn't pull any strings for ya. You boys earned your spot all on your own.

Katsuki: Good. I hate being treated like I'm some kind of chosen one. Ever since...

He went quiet.

All Might: Ever since what?

Clover: You don't have to tell him if you don't want to, Kacchan.

Katsuki: No. He needs to know. Truth is, not long after I got my quirk, people started to treat me like I'm some kind of chosen one. It got into my head. I started to think that I was truly the greatest and started to steer away from these two being my friends.

All Might: I see. What happened that stopped all of that.

Katsuki: When we were little kids, Izuku tried to protect this kid from me and my two ex friends. I used my quirk on him and laughed at it. But... when I saw the pained expression in his face... I realized... I was acting like a villain. After that, Clover wouldn't let me come anywhere near Izuku for the next month. We were able to make up... but... even though Izuku and Clover have forgiven me for my actions... I don't think I ever will.

All Might patted him on the back.

All Might: It takes a big man to admit when he's made a mistake. At least you realized what you were doing wrong before you caused any lasting damage.

Katsuki: Thanks All Might.

Izuku: There's one thing, All Might. Your power. I only used it on my legs and arm and it caused me to demorph right after. I can't control it. What do I do?

All Might: You'll learn to manage in time. Hoping to master it is like asking a baby to run a marathon. You still have to go through the process of learning how to walk.

Katsuki: Hold on. Just to clarify, you knew something like this was going to happen?!

All Might: Not really. If this all happened before your Ranger powers, I would. As it stands, I had no idea of the outcome. But at least now we know what you're dealing with. Right now, Izuku's quirk is either 0%, or 100%. One day, you'll learn how to control your output. Then, you can adjust how much power you're using.

Izuku: I just need control?

Clover: I get what he's saying. Right now, you're overflowing with energy. But with training, your body should be able to hold it better.

All Might buffed up and crushed a can.

All Might: PRECISELY! THEN IT'S YOURS TO COMMAND.

Sadly, they forgot about the couple and recognized him.
