Greyson's POV"Hey you asshole get back down!" I shouted the 3rd time to my little brother.
"Sorry man gosh I was just playin around you know" he mumbled softly, swaying around hitting the table.
"God Hayden couldn't you be any more drunk as it is" I huffed already sick of my drunk 21 year old brother.
"Yeah man whatever it's just you know it the only way that could take whatever I feel in there" he smiled drunkly pointed towards his head.
He continued, "It's just weird after since mom passed away you know"
I froze at the sound of the word 'mom' it's been 2 months since she passed and let's just say things have been difficult ever since she left the bar to me.
"Look, mom wouldn't want you to be like this okay? so go upstairs and go freshen up yourself" I told, pointing towards the loft upstairs.
He huffed scurrying off upstairs, when a bell rang from the entrance door, not bothering to look of who was the first customer.
"Hey Grey, long time no see"
I froze at the sound of that voice, turning around realising of who I'm dealing with. I met with a familiar bright blue eyes.
I stood in shock not expecting to see Hayes Montgomery standing in my bar.
I stand and took upon on his appearance. He looked different, really different.
His long bangs were gone instead it was a clean shaved buzz cut. His typical polo shirts were paired with a pair for Jean but instead it was with a white T-shirt with a pair of grey pants.
I then realised he's not 13 years old anymore.
"Hayes, what you doing here" I asked calmly.
"Oh you know just walking around in the neighbourhood and you know it's been years since I got back, how many years has it been"
He pulled out his fingers counting discreetly.
"Oh it's been 12 years, so you know I just wanted to hang with my ex best friend" he shrugged.
I stood calmly, "Cut the bullshit Hayes I don't wanna hang with you I've got work to do, some of us have to work to live, and it seems like you want something"
I walked off carrying my shot glasses carefully putting down the cupboards above me.
He huffed, patting his hand against his jeans "Okay fine you got me yes I hoping you would maybe let me have a few drinks you know for tomorrow for a party at mine"
I looked at him cautiously, "And what makes you think I would give my drinks to you for your little party"
He laughed loudly, "Oh c'mon Grey, you do realise you own me"
"I still haven't told anyone about you little secret"
'Your little secret'
I froze not knowing what to say.
"That was 12 years ago Hayes, get over it" I quietly snapped.
"Whatever man, il just you know go to cops and tell what you did, and then your small little ass will be sat in prison while your poor little drug addict brother will sat on the streets poor" he challenged, a small smirked spread across his face.
"I'll tell you something okay the police has reopened the case so if I were I would be careful of who you talking to"
They've reopened it? Why?
I gripped the table as my knuckles turned white, trying not to lose my shit.
"Okay I'll bring the drinks to your first thing tomorrow" I spat.
He grinned, "Thank you Grey I guess ill see you tomorrow"
"And by the way change the name of the bar" he laughed pointed out the 'Addy's Lounge and bar' front sign.
"It's a little girly" he grinned walking out of bar as the front door bell rang.
I picked up a glass and threw it against the wall in front of me.
"FUCK" I yelled.
