MINE | Draco Malfoy x Reader

W A T E R

Today we had no classes but Severus had called me to his office. He also told me to get Draco with me. So, I was going to his office with Draco following me when,

"Look who's here. Miss POTTER! The new Slytherin seeker."
"Shove off, Bills."
"Ooohhh. What can you do, huh? Tell your god father?" He snickered and laughed at me.
"You better stop this, Bills" Draco said defending me.
"Draco. Stop. I can handle it."

Draco nodded.

"Fuck off, Bills. You don't want to mess with me."
"Oh yeah? What can you even do? Make me levitate?"
That crossed the line. I was burning with anger now. My eyes turned dark blue and Bills started to gag out water. Then my eyes became red. Bills robes caught fire.

Draco was laughing and mocking him besides me. Until Severus came and shouted.

"YN! STOP IT!"
I couldn't control it. I wasn't able to stop it. Finally Draco realised that and held my hand.

"You can do it. Just try."

It stopped. I just stood there. Dumbfound and confused.

What the heck just happened? What did I do just now? This can't be happening. It's not real right? Am I dreaming?

The next thing I knew was Severus dragging me across the corridors and Draco running behind us.

We entered his office and he slammed the door walking it his table.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU WERE DOING? HE COULD HAVE KNOWN ABOUT YOUR POWERS! YOU WOULD BE IN DANGER?!"
"I d-didn't know w-what was happening. I- I couldn't control it. I am s-sorry." I couldn't hold back my tears anymore. I fell on the ground and started crying into my hands.

Severus didn't tell anything. It was Draco who tried to calm me down.

"It's ok Yn. You're ok. Everything's ok. It's fine."
"No! Nothing's fine. I messed up."
"Don't cry. Please."

Draco hugged me and that caused me to cry even harder into his arms. I didn't deserve him.

Draco's PoV

I couldn't believe that her own Godfather shouted on her like that. Seeing her cry, I was on the urge of tears. But I couldn't.

Yn's PoV

" Yn I didn't mean to shout. I was just worried." Severus said.
"I know," I wiped my tears away, "I want to learn how to control the powers."

"About that. Three of your powers are developing together at the same time now."
"Fire, Water and Telekinesis..." Draco whispered
"Yes Malfoy. Those are the powers."
"How Telekinesis?" I asked
"Yesterday in the tryouts, when you fell, your broom came to you on its own. That was Telekinesis."

"What are we doing first then?"
" Water. As it is easier and less harmful."
"When do we start?"
"Now."
"Ok. What first?"
"I noticed that Malfoy is the one who can make you stop using your powers so if anything goes wrong Malfoy, you need to stop her."
"Yes Professor."
"And Yn. I would first like you to control this glass of water."

Severus got a glass of water and kept it in front of me. I just looked at it confused, what to do.

"Try lifting the water."

I nodded. I kept my hands in front of me and concentrated on the glass. I was scared, yes, but determined to control my powers as fast as I could.

After a few seconds of concentration, all of the water in the glass came up. I was able to make it into different shapes until it randomly blasted.

Everything was wet. We just laughed. Severus did a spell that dried up everything that was previously wet.

Next lesson was,

"Create water."
"Create? How am I supposed to create water?"

He didn't answer my question and only asked Draco to get an empty glass from the back. Draco did as told and then the empty glass was kept in front of me.

"Try to fill it up with water."
"How?"
"Concentrate on the glass. You should be able to do it only by thinking."
"Ok"

I stared at the glass continuously, concentrating on it. The glass started to fill with water.

"Good. You are already able to control the basics of water so next is Telekinesis."
"Why not Fire?"
"It will be hard to handle."

My first task was to get the book in front of me into my hands. I did it easily. Next was to get a small bead that had fallen somewhere in the class. I did that too but it was a bit harder as the bead was very small.

"Ok. Last one. Get your broom from your room."

I tried to do this and after a few minutes the broom came flying into my hand.

"That's it for today. Meet me at the Black lake tomorrow."
"But I have Quidditch?"
"Oh. After the match? If possible."
"Ok."

After Severus told some things I needed to remember, me and Draco went on our way to the common room.

Draco was a bit ahead of me. A boy from Gryffindor named Seamus, suddenly came and told,

"Hey! You are Yn Potter, right?"
"Umm Yes?"
" Harry wants you to meet him at the library before lunch."
"Ok Thanks."

That's when Draco realised that I wasn't following him. When I caught up with him, he started lecturing that next time I stop I should inform him too.

I just rolled my eyes though.

I told him that I needed to go to the library to meet Harry. He replied that he would go with me as Snape told him to stay with me at all times.

I was like.. Yeah Sure. Whatever. I doubt it.

I was hopping my way to the library, with Draco walking behind me.

"Why the heck are you hopping?"
"I don't know. Maybe I am happy?"
"You were crying an hour ago."

I turned to face him, my glare drilling into his eyes.

"What. Did. You. Say?"
"Nothing. Sorry."

We walked some more time in silence until we reached the library.

"Are you sure you wanna come? I'm fine going alone."
"Nope. I am not leaving you alone. I can't let anything bad happen, remember?"
"Ok. If you insist."
