Y/n has a surprisingly easy time getting to the twins, cornering them in a secret passageway and forcing them to sit down until they could work it out.

"I was an ass," she says, looking down at her hands. "I'm sorry I snapped at you."

"We didn't really mean to ignore you all weekend," Fred says. "We knew if we tried to talk to you it wouldn't really go well."

"I think I might've come around sooner if you had, being honest. I hated watching you guys do stuff without me."

"We noticed. We figured it would do you good, no offence." George elbows his twin. "We also owe you an apology. We shouldn't have pushed about the nightmare thing."

"Yeah, I guess. You don't really owe me an apology. I was the one who yelled at you when you were just worried and trying to help. So—" she puts out a hand. "Are we good, maybe?"

Fred shakes his head and laughs.

"Are you kidding?" He says. "Come here." And they pull her into a hug, letting the silence sink in for a few minutes before they all sit back to face each other.

"OWLs have been awful without you guys."

"Well, lucky for you, we've still got three days left."

The trio comes sprinting into the Great Hall Friday evening, rushing to sit down after getting caught up in the crowds and being made late for dinner.

"I'm so glad that's all over," Y/n sighs as she sits down. "I thought Professor Trelawney was going to kill me. I know for a fact I'm not getting a good grade in Divination, which is perfectly fine with me."

"I don't think I could ever see you going into any kind of Seer profession," Fred says as he piles food onto his plate. "Honestly, I think most anyone would go mad."

"I had hoped I'd be able to stay under the radar with her, and then that all went down the drain after she told me I was lying about my dreams and not telling her everything. Which," Y/n adds, pausing to take a bite off of a Pumpkin Pasty, "of the two of those things, only one was true. She's mad, of course I'm not going to tell her everything. She would probably tell me I was going to die next week if I had."

They all glance up at where the woman is eating her food at the end of the long table of professors.

"Honestly, I think maybe if she had it once, it's definitely gone."

"What's gone?" Y/n asks, looking over at George.

"Her Seer abilities. I mean, there's no way that Dumbledore would just hire a woman who has absolutely no experience whatsoever." He flings his hands up in an 'it's obvious' gesture, but Y/n's mind flies back to Lockhart instead. "Maybe it's just gone now and she only has book smarts."

"Either way, I think her OWL is the one I studied the least for," Y/n cringes.

"That's really saying something, isn't it?" Fred says.

"I can't wait to get back to the Burrow. The amount of homework this year made me sick."

"Don't worry," George reassures her. "We'll be back there soon enough."

April 1st. A day often celebrated as April Fool's Day, with origins believed to have come from France: with the adoption of the reformed calendar in the 16th century, any person refused to change New Year's Day from April to January became the poisson d'avril, or April Fish, and was subjected to the hands of pranksters.

So who better to have a birthday on this day and the two biggest pranksters in Hogwarts?

Y/n hurries to dress, Angelina and Alicia watching her from their bunks with knowing smiles. She's woken up early knowing the twins are practically up with the sun on the birthday each year. Stomping down to the common room, she proceeds to run up the stairway across the room, stopping in front of the door behind which the fifth-years reside to lie in wait.
