You and Ryder were always friends since you were young, you would always play games with him or spend time with him to help fulfill your boredom. Every few weeks you would go over to his house and talk to him about either your problems or simply to just watch a movie. Today, you decided to come over to his house and watch the newest horror movie that released.

You drove to his apartment complex and parked your car outside before heading up to the second floor and knocking softly against his door, waiting for a response. "Howdy, you're early." He said in a low tone. You would roll your eyes at his comment he would step aside from the door frame to let you in as he locked the door shut behind you. "Well do you want any food or drinks for the movie?" He asked this softly whilst walking to the kitchen fridge, waiting for a response. "A water and some popcorn is fine." You responded as you settle down on the couch, getting comfortable with a weighted blanket over you and a pillow supporting your back. Ryder then nodded and began to heat up the popcorn inside the microwave, in the meanwhile, he would pour a glass of water in his cup and in yours.
Eventually, after a moment, he turns to the couch with a bowl of popcorn and two glasses of water and settles down next to you on the couch. Something was off though... today he seemed much closer, and when he answered the door to you, his voice was much more sultry than usual ever before. Maybe he had woken up from a deep slumber which made his voice low and the tone suddenly more attractive.. but again why were you overthinking it? You decide to shake it off and he places the bowl over your lap, his fingers grazing your thighs for a second as he settled the bowl in place. "You okay?.. You look like you're overthinking." Of course he knew what you looked like when you were troubling over something.. he knew you for years. You nodded in response to his question and he picks up the remote to play the movie. As the introduction began, you continued to think about if maybe tonight he would be any different from normal, maybe more touchy.. or perhaps even more than that..
