The Grimm Mate

Chapter 2

Andrew and you broke up 6 months after meeting his family. You haven't spoken to him since then. However you and Monroe are still in contact. When he decided to break up with his girlfriend Angelina and become a vegan he came to you for food advice. You also helped him pack all his stuff when he decided to move to Portland. You followed Monroe's lead and moved to Portland a half a year later.

You've got a job as the Police Captain's personal assistant. You look up when Nick and Hank walk in. You wave to them. Nick's girlfriend Juliette is your friend. When nick turns and looks at one of the arrested men his eyes turn all black and look like demon eyes. You blink and its gone. Great You're imagining things now.

You are heading over to Nick's place as his Aunt is here to visit. Nick and Marie are attacked and the man's face looks like a monster and both of their eyes turned black like demon eyes when looking at the man. You're shaking. When Nick kills the man you rush to his side. "Oh my god Nick are you okay?" "Yeah I'm okay Jean. I forgot I invited you to meet my Aunt." You nod "Why did this monster attack you with an actually scythe?" Nick's Aunt says "Are you a Kehrseite-Schlich-Kennen?"

You blink. "I don't know what that means but I think I've heard it before. Wait a minute thats what Andrew's dad called me when I first met him. A Kehrseite. He scolded Andrew about me being a Kehrseite not even a Kehrseite-Schlich-Kennen." Marie looks at you "Could you see his face?" "Uh yeah ots a face everyone has one." "Did you see his real face?" "Um. Well you're gonna think im crazy i think im crazy. I saw him looking like a monster and when you two looked at him you had black demon eyes." "You're a Grimm. What family are you from?" "Uh well my last name is Sullivan but whats a Grimm?" Marie doesn't look so well and she just collapsed.

You help Nick with Marie and give your statement to the officers. You tell Nick goodnight. Captain Renard gave Nick and Hank a new case. A little girl is missing. Nick comes back after accosting somebody and making the police search the man's house. You know Nick he's like a dog with a bone. He's not gonna let this go. You follow Nick. Wait a minute you know this house.

Suddenly Nick is tackled to the ground by a man that jumped through his own window. Your eyes widen this guy looks like a werewolf. But for some reason you don't feel scared of him. Then he speaks and his looks change. You stand there in shock as both of the men turn towards you.

Nick asks "Did you follow me here Jean?" You don't even hear him you can't take your eyes off the other man. He's staring right back at you with the same shocked expression you have. Finally Nick snaps his fingers in front of your face. You blink and look at Nick. "Huh?" "Did you follow me here Jean?" "You never let things go so I knew you would do something stupid so I followed you." "You were looking at this guy in shock like you know him. Do you know him?" "I thought I did but I'm not sure if I really do anymore." "What does that mean?" You look at Monroe who is still watching you. "What are you really Roe because you just looked like the Wolfman? And why have you been hiding it from me?"

Monroe brings both Nick and I inside. He explains that he's a Wieder Blutbad. Meaning he's reformed and doesn't eat meat anymore. And that Nick is a Grimm. You just sit on Monroe's couch and let him and Nick talk while you listen. You're both pissed and hurt that Monroe hasn't told you about this before. Nick has just convinced Monroe to help him.

"I'm coming with you." "Jean it's too dangerous this blutbad isn't wieder like me he'll hurt you without a second thought." "He's right Jean its too dangerous." "Nick you know I'm not some helpless civilian. Do you really think Sean would allow me to be defenseless? I can take care of myself." Nick sighs "Fine but if you get hurt you get to explain to the captain that I tried to keep you back but you insisted that you could take care of yourself." "Nick Sean's taught me self defense himself so are you doubting that your police captain can't train me properly?" Nick shakes his head "I didn't know that the Captain trained you himself." "Well Sean insisted that if I was going to be his personal assistant that he would insure I was taught properly by teaching me himself." Nick just sighs "You've made your point. We need to go."
