I open my eyes and the only thing I can think of, is the fact that my head is literally killing me. I sit up and look on my left, Alexa was still asleep. We slept at Valentino's house since we all were wasted. Good thing we brought our pajamas and changing clothes. I get up, and the first thing I do is get in the bathroom.

My reflection in the mirror is haunting me, I look like a corpse. Jesus, I turn on the hot water from the shower and start taking off my clothes. I take a deep breath and step in. I close my eyes and let the water fall from my hair down to my body, memories of last night coming back to my mind. How I almost started a fight with Chanel, the kiss with Yoshi. The kiss with Yoshi...the way Ares was looking at me, the hate in his eyes. I don't know what his problem is, after all it was his choice to get back with that little snake of his girlfriend. Either way, I did not care. All I cared about was the new company I was building, I already had people contacting me for collaborations. Everyone knows the background of my family, so why wouldn't they want to collaborate with me. It would only benefit them, but I had to see what would benefit me.

I step out of the shower and get in my clean clothes, simple trousers and a tight black, long sleeved shirt. I walk in the bedroom and see Alexa looking at her phone, I smile "why didn't you sleep with Valentino?" I sit on the bed and she looks at me "he literally fell asleep on the couch" I chuckle and her face made me laugh. "Girl, go and take a shower, you're scaring me." I get back up and she shows me her middle finger. I walk outside of the bedroom chuckling and head down to the kitchen. I grab something quick to eat and take some painkillers. The door opens and reveals a just showered Yoshi wearing grey sweatpants and a black hoodie. I check him out, I've never seen him dressed casual.

"Morning Love" he snaps me out of my thoughts, I meet his gaze and he was smiling "good morning." I walk around with a cup of coffee and lean against the kitchen island looking at him. "How'd you sleep?" He leans against the fridge standing in front of me, "oh I slept good, how I woke up was the problem." He chuckles and I follow suit. "Well, I guess we all did" I nod and he takes a painkiller too. "You haven't had breakfast" I look over at him "I only drink coffee in the morning" I make a disgusted face "what? You literally have a cup of coffee in your hand." He points at the cup in my hand, "yeah, but I ate first." He rolls his eyes and I look at him in disbelief, "did you just roll your eyes at me?" I chuckle and he giggles.

We make our way to the living room and see that Valentino was already up, clean and dressed. I sit next to him "you slept on the couch" he looks at me and sighs "thank god my couch is comfortable or else I would've been dead today." Me and Yoshi laugh and Alexa comes and joins us. We chit chat and laugh about last night, "what plans do you guys have for today?" Valentino asks and I sigh "I have to make a few calls, look at the construction of the company and then go and sign the contract of ending my collaboration with Ares." I roll my eyes "you have really started to hate my brother even more haven't you?" I look at him "I've always hated your brother, Valentino." He smiles and nods.

After a while of silence Valentino speaks up, "I wanna make research, about Chanel." We all look at him "about what?" Alexa asks, "this whole situation stinks and I wanna find out the truth." He looks at us and I nod. "I can help with that, I have the best hacker team" we all look at Yoshi and I raise an eyebrow. He looks at me and then Valentino. "Tell me what you want to find out and I'll make that happen." Valentino nods and then adds "in the meantime I'll put some of my men to keep an eye on her, I really don't like that girl." I lean back in my seat "what are your assumptions?" I look at Valentino and he shrugs and looks forward at the empty space "it could be anything, but I'm sure of one thing. She has never been pregnant with my brother, and her intentions are not good. Like why, why come back after all this time. She knew Ares has a soft spot for her because of what she told him, but I don't buy it. I need to find out what has really happened in the past that she backed away and why did she come back, why now anyway." We stay silent and Alexa speaks up "what if she was pregnant but with someone else, and she made up to her father that it was Ares's baby?" I look at her in shock "would she actually be able to make up something like that?" Yoshi looks at her and I turn to face him "you don't know her." Silence hits the room and then we make our plan on what to do to find out her secret.

I sign the contract and Ares as well, I look up at him and put my hand out for a handshake. Just like adults do, and to my surprise he shakes it. "It was hell working with you Ares, but had its benefits." I keep eye contact and he smirks "I could say the same thing, princesa." I put my hand to my side and roll my eyes "I think it's time you stop calling me that, it's inappropriate." He puts his hands in the pockets of his pants and tilts his head "I've been calling you that since we were kids, why is it inappropriate now?" I cross my arms over my chest "you have a girlfriend, I have a..something and we don't work together anymore." He takes a step closer to me "you have a something? You can't even put a title to it? Means it's not that important, princesa." I stand my ground and look at him "I'm getting to know him better, we spend all our free time together so yeah." He narrows his eyes "good to know." He straightens up and looks down at me "well I wish you good luck Y/n, in everything." He nods and gets out of the office and a feeling of emptiness fills my body but I shake it off as soon as possible.

I get in my car and close my eyes for a moment before receiving a call from another company, I haven't even inaugurated my company and those calls are already getting the worst of me. I ignore the call and start the engine and drive off to see the company. It was coming out amazing and I was happy, one of the best ideas I've ever had. And I wonder why I hadn't done it earlier. It would have been a lot easier, but I guess everything has its time.

I spend the rest of the day choosing the colors of the offices inside, the furniture, lights and everything else. At the end of the day I was exhausted and just wanted to get in bed and sleep.
I go back home, greet my parents, go to my bedroom, get changed and then in bed. I text with Yoshi for a while, Alexa and Valentino, and then slowly drift to sleep. I guess I was exhausted to the point I fell asleep without doing my nighttime routine, but that happens sometimes. It's the weight of starting to do adult stuff by your own, you don't have time for everything. At least, in the beginning.
