I had the most wonderful dream that night where I was a beloved, glamorous history teacher, adored by my students for my lessons. Unfortunately, I was jolted awake by the alarm.
I knew i could do something! Something that can make me full of pride my whole life.
I heavily entered the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth, my body was arched to the front because of how much I was lazy. I looked at myself in the mirror, for the first time i have seen myself that pretty!! I grabbed the facial cleanser making sure to surround my whole face with its bubbles. The texture of this cleanser is soft. It feels like whipped cream.
I yawned but quickly caught myself as the bubbles filled my mouth, leaving an unpleasant, acidic taste.
I spat it all into the sink, washing my face roughly after accidentally getting the bubbles in my eyes.
Life seems to be plotting against me today—what’s going on? I thought we were friends!
I hissed as I opened the door, grumbling about all the accidents happening to me. Suddenly, the door swung back and slammed into my nose, leaving a red mark.
I crawled to my wardrobe, grabbing whatever I could find. Luck handed me light blue wide-leg pants and a maroon hoodie. I threw them on and dashed to style my hair, deciding on a sleek bun with some curls left in the back.
I grabbed my backpack, which I had already organized before going to bed.
My mom is already at work, dad is leaving but his work the other direction.
I caught the bus and settled into my seat by the window, feeling great until I spotted Makenzie approaching.
I acted like i was blind and looked the other direction
Did I mention I was heading to camp, not school? No? Well, now you know!
