The faint sound of children's laughter echoed through the narrow streets as the orphanage came into view. It was a modest, weathered building, its chipped walls painted with colorful murals that tried to mask the cracks of time. For y/n, it had always been a safe haven-a place where love and innocence thrived, untouched by the chaos of the outside world. But as she approached, her heart was heavy with the weight of everything she had endured

Inside, Felix paced anxiously in his room thinking about y/n restlessly consumed by guilt after all if he hadn't restricted y/n to visit him that day all this could have been avoided. Bandages on his arms were a stark reminder of his horrifying encounter with jungkook but after thinking it through his love for y/n was far greater then his fear.

Across the room, Y/N's little sister sat curled up on the couch, clutching a stuffed bear tightly, her wide eyes darting toward the door every time it creaked. They had been waiting for hours, worried sick about Y/N's safety.

When the door finally swung open, their heads snapped toward it.

"Y/N!" Felix exclaimed, rushing forward, relief flooding his face as he saw her.

Y/N stood in the doorway, her clothes disheveled and her eyes rimmed red from exhaustion. She managed a weak smile before stepping inside, and the moment Felix wrapped her in a tight hug, the dam she had been holding back broke.

"You're okay," he murmured, his voice filled with both relief and concern. But as he pulled back, his expression darkened. "Do you know what happened? Jungkook... He's the reason I ended up in the hospital."

Y/N froze, her breath hitching. "What?" she whispered, her voice barely audible.

Felix nodded, his jaw tightening as he recounted the events. "His men attacked me a few days ago. They said it was a warning-for me to stay out of his way. In his eyes you already belong to him and he wouldn't spare anyone who tries to separate you from him.
Tears welled up in Y/N's eyes as guilt and heartbreak consumed her. She had known Jungkook was ruthless and she also knew that he is man of his words . She blamed herself for the incident.

Felix shook his head and placed his hands on her shoulders. "Don't apologize it was never your fault y/n that a monster like him chose to fall in love with you." After thinking to himself he suddenly exclaimed " what if we run away from this country. My parents left me enough money to cover that and ... " Before he could continue he was stopped by a gentle touch of a finger by y/n"

Her eyes said it all now matter how much she tries she can't hide from him forever. For a moment now she was free but there was a part inside her that warned her of the consequences she is going to receive after a few days , hours or perhaps even minutes from now .

a small voice interrupted them.

"Unnie?"

Y/N's little sister stood a few feet away, her big eyes filled with unshed tears. She dropped the stuffed bear and ran to Y/N, throwing her arms around her waist. "I was so scared! Felix-oppa said you'd come back, but I was afraid you wouldn't."

Y/N dropped to her knees, pulling her sister into a tight embrace. "I'm here now," she whispered, her tears falling freely. "I'll always come back to you. I promise."

The three of them stayed like that for a long moment, tangled in each other's arms, as if trying to hold the broken pieces of their lives together.

Felix's voice broke the silence, gentle but firm. "We'll figure this out, Y/N. You don't have to face this alone anymore. We'll protect each other, just like we always have."

Y/N nodded, her tears soaking into Felix's shoulder as she clung to him and her sister. In that moment, surrounded by the only family she had left, she allowed herself to cry-not out of fear or despair, but because, for the first time in what felt like forever, she wasn't alone.

But deep down, a fire still burned. She knew she couldn't keep running forever. Sooner or later, she would have to face Jungkook-and the storm that awaited them both.
