It was raining. And heavily too. The rain poured down of the children of Zeus. The funeral took place in an old mountain space where Dionysus wanted to spend the rest of his days but never did. The valet was designed with vines and grapes and an overwhelming sense of loss before being lowered into the ground "I can't believe this is the last time anyone will ever know about him.." Artemis said "I know." She replied
A heavy silence fell over the whole yard one by one people stepped forward chucking roses or grapes into the ground and then going to leave
Then abruptly the sky started crackling and thunder began a royal blue mist started to spread along the graveyard "so the beast has came.." Athena said turning her face away " how did he die." Zeus asked "murder by lady circe." Artemis replied "good riddance. I only came here to confirm one of my mistakes has vanished. I won't do anything to anyone here. But know one by one I wish for you all to vanish just like that pathe-" Athena cut him off "I'm sick of you Zeus. You come here to a place of mourning to make your wishes towards us. Your own blood. Now leave." She stood her ground this time. Last time she broke out in tears. Last night she got her powers stripped away. Now she was fed up.
"I wish you gone."
"So be it. But just remember. Artemis has wanted a father her entire life and I did my best to be there since she's not as bad as you other mistakes. If she doesn't have a dad think how hurt she will be." And then he left.
