### **EXT. CEMETERY - DAY**

The sun hung low in the sky, casting a muted glow over the cemetery. A somber atmosphere enveloped the gathering, the air thick with grief and unspoken words. Bobby stood beside the freshly dug grave, the weight of loss pressing down on him like a heavy shroud. Daniella's funeral had drawn a crowd, but the faces he saw were a blur, each one a reminder of the life that had been so cruelly taken.

Mia clutched his hand, her small fingers trembling. She wore a tiny black dress, her hair tied back with a bow that Daniella had picked out just weeks before. "Daddy," she whispered, her voice breaking. "Is Momma sleeping forever?"

Bobby felt his heart shatter at the innocence of her question. He knelt down beside her, searching for words that were lost in the depths of his sorrow. "Um... yes, baby. She's... she's at peace now," he managed, his throat tight.

Mia's eyes filled with tears. "But I want to wake her up! I want to tell her I love her!"

Bobby swallowed hard, unable to find the right words. "I know, sweetheart. I know."

### **INT. FUNERAL HOME - MOMENTS LATER**

As the service began, Bobby's gaze drifted to the front of the room where Daniella lay in her coffin, surrounded by flowers that seemed too bright for such a dark moment. She looked almost serene, her face perfectly made up, the soft glow of the lights highlighting her features. She was beautiful, even in death.

"God, Daniella," he whispered, stepping closer. "You look so pretty. I wish I could tell you that one last time." He touched the edge of the coffin, the coolness of the wood contrasting sharply with the warmth of his grief.

"I'm so sorry for everything," he continued, a lump forming in his throat. "If I could take it all back... I would." His voice cracked, the weight of regret crashing over him like a wave.

He studied her face, the way her dark hair framed her features, the delicate curve of her lips, and the soft blush on her cheeks. "You always knew how to make everything beautiful. Even now," he murmured. "You look like you're just... sleeping."

Bobby felt a single tear escape his eye, trailing down his cheek. "I hope Mia remembers you like this. I hope she knows how incredible you were."

### **EXT. CEMETERY - LATER**

As the service continued, Bobby noticed a group dressed in blue and gray suits standing off to the side—Derek and his gang. They looked out of place, their expressions a mix of indifference and amusement, like they were at a show rather than a funeral. Bobby's blood boiled at the sight of them, the anger bubbling just beneath the surface.

"Look at them," he muttered to Tommy, who stood beside him, a grim expression on his face. "Derek doesn't even care."

"Let it go, Bobby," Tommy warned, his voice low. "Not today."

But Bobby couldn't help it. He strode toward the group, fists clenched. "What the hell are you doing here?" he spat, his voice laced with venom.

Derek smirked, adjusting his tie. "Just paying my respects. Heard the tragic news. Quite the loss for you, huh?"

Bobby felt the heat rise in his chest. "You think this is a joke? You think you can just show up here and act like you belong?"

Derek's expression hardened. "You can't blame me for what happened. You brought this on yourself."

Bobby's vision blurred with rage. "You're a piece of work, Derek. You'll pay for this one day. I swear."

"Sure, Bobby. Keep telling yourself that," Derek replied, his tone dismissive. "But I'm not the one in the coffin."

### **EXT. CEMETERY - AFTER THE SERVICE**

As the service concluded, Bobby returned to Mia, who was still clinging to his side, her little face streaked with tears. He knelt down again, pulling her into a tight embrace.

"Daddy, I miss her," she sobbed, burying her face in his shoulder. "Why can't we just wake her up?"

"I know, baby. I know." His heart ached as he fought to hold back his own tears. "She's in a better place now. We have to remember her... the way she made us feel. The love she gave us."

Mia looked up at him, her eyes wide and trusting. "Will you help me remember her?"

Bobby nodded, a fresh wave of determination flooding through him. "I will, Mia. I promise. We'll keep her memory alive, no matter what."

As the last of the mourners began to leave, Bobby took one last look at Daniella's grave, the reality of their loss crashing down on him. "I'll make this right, Daniella. I'll make sure Mia knows how wonderful you were. I swear it."

With Mia by his side, he turned away from the grave, ready to face the uncertain road ahead, carrying the weight of regret but determined to honor the love they had lost.
