Ming was sitting outside hospital. His hands were shaking. His eyes were wet. He couldn't believe what he heard earlier. Who could that happened? Do he always destined to be grieved ? Today, after many days he got happiness but now....
" Ming" his reveries broked by the call
" What did doctor said?"
" They have to do immediate operation."
" She will be fine right?" Ming silently cried
The person beside him was his lifeline, he wrapped Ming in his hands.
" Everything will be fine."

Before 3 hours

Ming Pov

As I proceeded to his pants, he laid back with a smile . I bitted the zip and pulled it down. I can see his briefs. I kissed it and Joe moaned aloud.
" Ming .......Aah! ..eh"
I smirked at him and proceeded to the band of his briefs. Before breaking the last strand of my sanity, I looked at him for consent and my baby gladly granded it.

" Zzzzz....."
My phone buzzed and I decided to ignore it. It ringed again and I took it and to my surprise it was mom.
" Ming.....May..... poison......you please come ."

I was shocked and gave the phone to phi Joe. He heard of everything and we soon got ready and went to mansion. As dad and Hia were not in the mansion, we took her to hospital and informed them. May  was admitted to emergency room and we sat outside. I felt numbness and it's the first time I felt like that for someone other than Joe. May was not only my sister but also my friend. She was the only person who was constantly bothering me to stop drinking. She always asked me to love life and never do something foolish. But now she..........
" What happened to her Mama?" Joe asked my mom.
" I don't know son. I was down in kitchen asking the servants to make a soup for May and she was in room. Soon I heard a loud sound from her room and ran to there. I saw ... I saw her lying on the bed a bottle of poison in her hand. I called her many times but........" Mama cried on his shoulder and he hold him tight.

Present

" Ming doctor asked you to meet him." Phi Joe said and I went to doctor's cabin.

" Good evening Mr Chahart "
" My sister is safe na?"
" Mr. Chahart, you need to understand the situation. Your sister is severely poisoned and that too in her pregnancy. But don't worry the baby and she is not in danger but......."
" What doctor?"
" She is in coma now and we can't predict it's duration and the baby....she may be defected..."
" She ? Thong told us they are going to have a son and they did a gender reveal party too ."
" Mr Chahart, your sister is my regular patient more like a friend. She asked me to tell Mr. Thong that she was pregnant with a boy."
" But why doctor? What is the difference if the baby is a girl?"
" It's not my cup of tea. Please ask your sister when she wakes up."
" What about the baby?"
" As far the report, she has a health heart and perfect neuro system but she will be ...."
" She will be what?"
" She will be dump..."
" Isn't that curable"
" May be or maybe not. It's a 50-50 situation.
" Can we meet both?"
" Sure , the baby is fine so you can take her with you."
A nurse came towards me with a fluffy bundle. She handed over me my niece and she was pretty as her mother. Just like I was looking at May.
" Don't worry sweetheart, we all will love you even if you can't speak."
I felt her smile and took her to meet her grandma and uncle. Mumma was crying in happiness to see her alive and Joe stood there with a smile. Suddenly I felt a plang in my heart but I composed. Joe asked me what with his eyes and I just shook my head as no. I handed over baby girl to Joe as Mumma went inside to see May.
" She looks so pretty na Ming?" Joe asked me while playing with her soft palm.
" So much pretty as May but hope she is not moody as May . I heard from mom that she was moody always and smiled only when she went to her playschool. But the interesting fact was that she didn't went to any luxurious place, but to a normal playschool where most of the kids were from middle class. May used to pull tantrums to go there every day even in holidays. There she has a bestfriend named Carrot."
" Carrot? Who in their right mind will name their baby Carrot?😂"
" We don't know who is that guy but always teased May that she should marry her Carrot . But now I think she should have married him instead of that moron Thong." My eyes wet tightly but caught the sweet yarn of sweety.
" Sweety looks a lot like Mazu. Only when sleeps because your daughter was literally your little version."
" I really missed a lot . Right Joe?"
" Whatever happened in our life has a reason. May be ....."
" May be ....." He blushed a little
" Joe ... Ming....May is not responding.....😭"
We rushed towards ICU and saw doctors giving her CPR. After some time we breathed heavily and the heart beat steadied. We once again lived at that moment.

" Nothing to worry. She will be conscious after few hours . Your sister is fighter. Seems like she decided not to give up. "

Doctor's word soothed me somewhat. I glanced at Sweety , she was sleeping peacefully.
" Don't worry sweetheart, your mom will be fine."

After 5 days
Joe Pov
Whatever happened is for good and what is happening is also for good. I never believed this quote till now but today I desired to believe this because this the only thing that gives me strength. We were sitting in the hospital for Ming's check up. Yesterday he vomitted blood  and his face was pale but that moron didn't allowed me to took him to hospital at night by saying children would be frightened. It was right, my two dumplings love him the most. Yesterday we disclosed that secret that Ming is their father. Mazu was happy and Moyi gave me 'I knew it already ' expression. When did my son turned into cold?
" Khun Joe.... patient wanted to talk to you."
I entered the room. Ming was sitting on the bed. Several wires were attached to his body. The machines sound filled the entire room as we both kept silent.
" Phi Joe......"
I glanced at him.
" Are you mad? "
I shook my head negatively. How could I get mad at him. I really wanted to get mad at him for being careless for this bad health but couldn't. All our cold session by doctor.
" Good morning Khun Ming. How are you feeling now?"
" Better than before. But I can feel pain here." He pointed to his chest.
" It will be fine. You have to take the medicine properly."
" Before, I was looking for a way to die as I have no intention to live but now I have a reason to live but ......." Ming commented disappointed.
" Khun Ming don't loss your hope. No-one knows the plays of fate. Maybe , you will ..."
" How much time ?" I was shocked hearing his question. How could he asked that? That too infront of me?
" Khun Ming....."
" Tell me doctor, how much time."
This was going out of my mind. Who the hell is this doctor to decide my baby's life ? But all my agitated thoughts broked by a single answer.
" 2 months Sir....." The doctor gave us a dry smile and left . I was not sure what to say or not. Is this the end of our story?
" Phi Joe....."
I looked at him.
" Can you please come and sit here."
I went there and sat down.
" Phi.....the doctor is a stupid. Don't worry. Nothing will happen to me. But whatever he talked earlier was true. I didn't cared for my life as there was no hope for me to continue. The life without you was nothing better than a living hell. "
I remained silent
" You know how much time I have cursed the fate? Seems like it is taking revenge."
I looked at him.
" I know, I may be not as good as to pray but now I am carving to live. Will God bless me?🥺"
I cried aloud and he engulfed me in his arms. I put my hands on his back and rubbed.

Ming had slept after having his medicine. My little princess wanted to meet her dada but I told her to wait. I looked at him and his face had a sweet smile. But my eyes filled with tears. My ears was resonating with his wish more like last wish.
" Phi Joe..... I want to make memories with our family. We and our kids . Our little family. I want to see sea, I want make love to you under full moon , I want to marry you...."
I looked at him and soon my phone caught my attention. It was an unknown number and that too late? I picked up
" Hai ..... Khun Joe how is your life going?"
" Who are you?"
" Opps.....you forget me this fast? How could you forget the name of your enemy?"
" Thong...."
" That's it, yes it's me Thong. The very person you destroyed. The very person who you made abandoned. The very person who is going to kill your family."
" Don't make me laugh. You are the one who killed my baby, plot my accident, theft company assets, cheat May and even tried to kill your child."
" Seems like you have a better apprehension about me. Then add two things to the list. First thing the person who destroyed your career and second the very person damaged your husband's health. ...."
" What?"

He already cut the call. What was he talking about Ming's health? Is he responsible for all this? I called my friend and sent him Ming's medical records. You wait Mr.Thong ,if you are responsible for Ming's condition then no one can save you from me.
