"What?" Xiaohua asked directly as soon as he picked up the phone. He was in his office when he saw Xiazi's name suddenly pop up on the phone.
"Hua Er, why so frustrated? I'm hurt" Xiazi said on the line. Xiaohua rolled his eyes while imagining Xiazi acting hurt.
"I'm hanging up—" "Eh! Eh! Hua Er, I was just joking" and Xiazi had the audacity to cut him off.
He sighed and lean backwards on his seat while crossing his arms.
"What do you want?" Xiaohua asked calmly.
There are only two reasons why Hei Xia Zi called. One is to just flirt with him, and the second is to ask for a favor.
"Can you help me with something?" Xiazi slowly said.
The second one is. Xiaohua sighed. There is a part of him that is hoping, and there is also that don't give a shit.
"What is it this time?" A moment of silence before Xiazi spoke.
"Can you take care of someone for me?"
XiaoHua blinked.
"You want me to kill someone?" Xiaohua asked, and he heard Xiazi burst out of laughter. He frowned. This guy is really getting on his nerves. Why did he even fall for him?
"I mean, literally, take care, Hua Er." Xiazi said while still chuckling.
This old bastard asked me to literally take care of someone. And who's this motherfucker?
XiaoHua can't help but grin his teeth.
"Fine, he better be good" Xiaohua answered.
"Uhm, SHE is a good person, actually; don't worry."
Xiaohua was stunned for a minute. He got lost for a second. He took the cup of coffee that was on his table and took a sip on it. He doesn't know, but the taste became so bitter.
"She has this condition where she can't speak, a mute specifically. That's why I'm asking you for a favor if you can cure her."
XiaoHua remained silent. So many thoughts kept running through his head.
Xiazi met someone, and he literally cared for her. It's not like Xiazi didn't care for anyone; it's just that Xiazi never asked him for a woman before. And Xiazi never acknowledged someone as GOOD before.
"Uhm, she's already on the way together with her brother."
"....."
"Hua Er?"
XiaoHua went back to reality when Xiazi called his name softly. He closed his eyes tightly. That goddamn voice is his weakness.
"Hmm?" Xiaohua mumbled while trying to calm himself.
"I love you."
XiaoHua dramatically felt his world stop. He bit his lips, stopping his mouth to curse the person on the other line.
After you asked me about some woman, you're just going to sweet talk me!?
"Hua, Er, I said I love you" Xiazi added when he didn't hear XiaoHua's answer.
"Mhm, I know."
"Hua Er—" "I'll take good care of her; don't worry. I'll hang up now" Xiaohua said with a firm voice. He could hear Xiazi sighed.
"Ok, I love yo—" tot!
He didn't let Xiazi finish and immediately hung up the phone.
Xiaohua leaned in his chair and breathed heavily. He closed his eyes and firmed his hands tightly when a strange heat in his chest arose.
Why am I like this?

XiaoHua's gaze went to his laptop. It was a message from Hei Xia Zi. It's the personal information about the girl that he was talking about.
Xiaohua immediately clicked the file to open. A picture of a girl caught his attention. He can't help but stare at her for a minute. She seems young and innocent. Her eyes were softly looking at the camera with a smile on her face. Her hair is in a bun, which made her white neck noticeable.
Name: Chuchu Sex: Female Age: 26
'She's pretty' Xie Yu Chen thought. He closed his laptop and let out a big sigh. He loosens his tie and unbuttones the upper part of his shirt.
The fact that Hei Xiazi cares for this girl made him want to smash and throw his laptop away. But before he could do that, a soft knock on the door stopped him.
"Xiao Hua GeGe, about the—are you okay?" XiuXiu asked when she saw XiaoHua's arm on the air trying to smash the thing in front, which is his laptop.
Xie Yu Chen sighed and lean on his chair. XiuXiu's very confused about his action. Well, Xie YuChen really looks mad at the moment. His eyes were messy, and his hair and his fingers were firm, like he wanted to punch someone.
"What wrong?" XiuXiu's added.
"It's nothing; I need to go" Xie YuChen said as he stood up and grabbed his coat, leaving Xiuxiu behind.
"What—"
The door slammed before she could finish her sentence.
