It was morning and Steve Raglan walked up to the doors of the pizzeria. He unlocked the front gates and walked inside. The manager was caught by surprise when he found the lights turned. The bulbs on the archway leading to the main room blinked with yellow lights. Mr. Raglan stepped into the main show room and found the night guard standing in front of the main stage.
Y/N stood before the large animatronics on the stage. The curtains were pulled back as he took in their appearance. He had spent several hours reminding the children who they were and what happened to them. He did his best, but the spirits were still unable to move on. More was needed to be done if they were to find true peace, but at least he'd managed to calm them down.
Mr. Raglan approached Y/N. He gave a light grin and joined him in looking at the robots.
Raglan: They sure are something. Aren't they?
Y/N: Yeah... something.
Raglan: I must say, Mr. L/N, you are probably the best night shift guard we've had. Certainly the longest running. Most others don't, well-
Y/N: I know what you mean. I hope to continue my work here.
Mr. Raglan sighed and gave a wide expression while scratching the back of his neck.
Raglan: Oh, I'm sorry. You didn't get the memo, did you?
Y/N turned to look at him. He gave a raised brow of confusion. Mr. Raglan proceeded to walk around the room with Y/N following behind.
Raglan: We're shutting down.
Y/N: What?
Raglan: Yeah. Profits have been down the drain, attendance is in the craper. Each day we've seen less and less people.
Y/N rolled his eyes sarcastically.
Y/N: Can't imagine why.
Raglan: Yeah. The board announced our closer. We've just haven't been pouring in the same prospects we once had.
Y/N walked over to the prize corner. He pressed his fingers against the large blue prize box. He ran his hand across it, dust collecting on his fingertips.
Y/N: Are there any plans to reopen?
Raglan: Oh, I'm sure the board will come up with something. With any hope, we may reopen with a new face and new profits.
Y/N: And the animatronics?
Raglan: They'll be put into storage. Corporate doesn't want to scrap them just yet in case they come up with something. But they'll live in the hearts of the children who have grown up with them.
Y/N walked back over to the stage. Mr. Raglan watched him. He had a light grin on his chin.
Raglan: I can keep you updated if you want. Tell you when we reopen if you'd like to continue.
Y/N eyed the large animatronic bear in front of him. He took in its brown fur and lighter muzzle. Freddy held his microphone in his hand. His black top hat and bow tie complemented his look. Y/N continue to stare at him with determination.
Y/N: When can I start?
