Headcanons

Will update as I go, also has reasoning behind each

- Octo is autistic and bonded with Goonyan on the days he was alone because of his autism (There's proof that autistic people are more likely to bond with animals and also have a hard time making friends, much like Octo did)

- Orca was raised by wolves (All we know about her life in the forest was that she was raised there and that this same forest almost got destroyed and was only saved because of Dr. Virus. Nothing about her parents (hell, the art book doesn't even mention even the slightest bit about them)), meaning dog-like behaviors

- The Monster that killed Clione's mother was a Death (I know I wrote this for a one-shot, but... I'm just gonna make this an actual headcanon)

- A person's Monster form reveals a repressed side of themselves (This is actually going to be the next part of this, actually!)

- Orca sneezes flames (Because Nega-Dragon, duh)

- People can be born with genes responsible for transforming into Monsters, usually if they're born as hybrids, but there's a very small chance that someone born to fully-human parents can have these genes, usually first transforming at 18, but there have been cases where they awaken their Monster forms at a younger age

- Some people may have a strange tingling when holding a specific potion. This means that this is the Monster form that they will be guaranteed to take on.

- Monsters can and will choose to get bigger when they get angry at any moment.
