During magical history class Y/N sat in the back, as usual. She looked to her side and saw Chigiri feeding his cheetah familiar meat. Bachira is feeding his black and yellow snake. Isagi let his black widow spider crawl up his arm, and then there was kunigami and his leopard sitting by his side. 'Am I supposed to feed and water my familiar?' she looks over at the fox glaring at her, their eyes switching back and forth between the other familiars and the witch. She shook her head and wrote key notes of the lesson down in her book, her familiar knocked the pen out of her hand. The witch sighed, pulled some ham out of her bag, tossed it in the air, and watched how the familiar jumped up and ate it. She returned to taking notes on the lesson, her familiar curled into a ball on the desk. The bell rang and she picked the nine-tailed animal up. Finally, school was out. She felt something tug on the back of her skirt so she turned and was met with kunigami with his arms crossed and a smirk, biting her skirt was his familiar. "Do you want something, kunigami?" the other three warlocks came from their desks and looked at her with smirks of their own. "We have decided you are coming with us to the shopping district. And you'll say yes since, you know, you're warming up to us" chigiri said before leaning against an empty desk. "Oh, I guess I could come along. I need some stuff for my fridge and pantry" She scratched the back of her head, messing her hair up more than it usually was. "Great! Let's go!" bachira jumped up and down before bolting out of the door. They followed behind walking a bit faster than usual. They entered a room and bachira touched some flying words then a portal opened, then he ran through, the others following after. Y/N looked around, it was gigantic with stores of magic, food, clothing, and everything that anyone could need. "It's already late, we should split up and get the things we need, then we can meet up at the fountain" isagi suggested and the others agreed. Thus they went their own ways. Bachira went to the magic item store, isagi to the magic book store, chigiri to a hair care store, and kunigami to a place that sells weights. Y/N went to a food store and got stuff she would need for cooking and soft drinks. She browses for a bit longer before heading to the fountain. Chigiri was already there with a bag in his hand and he leaned against the fountain. The witch walked over and sat on the fountain next to him. "What did you end up getting?" chigiri peeks into one of her two bags. "Just some stuff," she says reaching a hand in and pulling out a popsicle and giving it to chigiri. "The weather changes a lot each day" She looks up at the sky, today was way too hot for her liking. "Tomorrow it's going to rain, the day after that it's going to snow. The weird weather habits are because of the high magical level of the forbidden realm, no regular human could last more than two days here," chigiri explains as he unwraps the popsicle and starts to eat it. "Now that we're alone there's some things I want to know about you" he continues and turns to face her sitting form. "You can ask but I'm not sure if I will answer whatever questions you have" She turns her head to look at him and he glances down thinking about what to ask. Just as he took a breath in to ask his question, bachira and isagi showed up. "Hey guys!" bachira cheered as he ran forward, isagi smiled and waved "Hope you weren't waiting for too long," the black-haired boy said. Chigiri sighed in disappointment. 'Whatever he needed to ask me must have been important or private if he can't say it in front of the others' the witch thinks as she shifts to cross one leg over the other. Not long after kunigami returned as well. "Let's head back now," isagi says and leads the others to the gate of the shopping district and casts a portal spell that takes them back to the school. "I'm heading back to my dorm now, bye guys" Y/N walks away from the group with a backward wave. Once she got there she put her groceries away, then she looked over to her be, her father's spell book had been returned with a note apologizing for being late to return. She didn't mind though, she returned the book to the top of the bookshelf. She looked at her familiar and saw it clawing at the door, she opened it and followed the nine-tailed around the campus until they were eventually in the clearing she had been in to train, but now it wasn't empty, there was a boy she had seen in her classes. Rin Itoshi. And he was currently practicing his wind magic. Then he turned to look at her, his face cold and he scowled at her. "Are you spying on me?" he said as he turned his whole body to face her, she looked next to him and saw a black kingsnake almost entirely hidden by the grass. "I wasn't spying on you, I was following where my familiar decided to take me" she replies staring into his teal eyes and him staring back into her dark ones. She glanced off to the side and saw her familiar dropping a small animal, a mouse, in front of the other boy's familiar. "Really? Your familiars are supposed to follow you, not the other way around" he spat out with a degrading stare that the girl wasn't bothered by. But she did scoff at him, and that made him scoff back. "I have better things to do than talk to a witch like you," the boy said before going back to his training. "So stay out of my way" he turned his head to look at her over his shoulder. "I wonder what got you so worked up, looking at you in class you seem like the more level-headed type" She leaned against her tree and signaled for her familiar to come back to her, and it did. He ignores her and she watches as he trains, his magic control is far beyond good, and he seems to have a whole lot of magic as well. But of course, Y/N doesn't know much about magic, just an observation. She watches as a blade of baby green wind cuts through five trees at the front and at least ten behind it. She watches him repeat the move ten times over. He turns to her and takes a few steps closer with an annoyed groan. "Why are you watching me? Don't you have better things to do?" he pointed in her face, scowling harder than before. "Not really, no" She looks to the side with an unamused face and crosses her arms. She felt something hit her in the head, she looked to the side where the object had fallen and saw his grimoire lying there. She looked back at him. "Why did you do that?" he was already back to training and ignoring her. She picked the grimoire up, it was pretty heavy. "Hey, how does someone get a grimoire?" she asks as he flips through the pages. He groans and turns to her. "I don't know, it just comes to you when you ready" he uses his magic to lift the book away from her and back to him. "And don't touch it, it's mine you lukewarm brat" he turns back to training. "'Luke warm'? Who pissed you off this bad?" she looked at him, and he groaned for the millionth time. "I hear if you groan your voice gets stuck sounding like a man who smoked 50 cigarettes a day since he was sixteen," she said and watched him turn to her. "And who told you that? Your mommy?" "yes" "Oh, okay" Silence followed after. "Y/N L/N, that's your name, right?" he asked and she hummed as a response. "Well, Y/N. I'm trying to train and you're distracting me. Would you hurry up and leave?" she hummed as she thought. "Yeah, but only because hearing you huff and puff is getting old" She turns and walks away with her familiar following beside her. She returns to campus and enters the building. "Oh, hey! There you are, I've been looking all over for you!" she turns her head and is greeted by Anri waving at her and walking up to her. "Ego, or the principal as you may know him" "I don't" "he sent me to tell you that you've been sorted into bastard munchen. Team group meetings are held once every two weeks, they are optional if you don't feel like going, but you will miss out on information. The leader of the group is Noel Noa, heard of him?" she claps her hands together once and waits for the younger witch's answer. "Yeah, my dad hated him when he was alive. He said he'd use others as stepping stones to get to the top. My dad didn't like that and raised me not to be an ass like him. Respectfully." Y/N replies and Anri chuckles and scratches the back of my head. "Yeah, heh. Respectfully.." she mutters under her breath still smiling. "Oh, hey. Your mom was human, right? So she wasn't executed?" anri asks, leaning forward hoping for a positive answer. "Doubt it, being married to a witch is punishable by death where I'm from but there are special circumstances." Anri leans back with a silent 'Oh'. "okay, so, Bastard Munchen. got it," Y/N says and walks past anri who says a quiet goodbye. The young witch walks through the corridors of the dormitories hearing giggling, laughing, fighting, and everything. When she goes to open her dorm door she sees someone jump into the doorway. She looks over and sighs. Its bachira whose barely covered by a towel. "Oh! Y/N, I didn't know your room was right next to the bathing quarters" he walks towards her and puts a wet hand on her shoulder and she pushes it off of her. "Uh-huh, I do" she responds and crosses her arms. "Go back into the bathing quarters, you're only wearing a towel" She turns to enter her dorm room but is stopped by Bachiras hand on her shoulder again. "Can we please talk? please?!" "yeah, tomorrow when you're not almost naked" She pushed his hand off and he stuck his tongue out. "Deal, I'll talk to you in class!" he then runs off back to where he had come from. Y/N entered her dorm room and grabbed the time magic book, then she left and went to a secluded part of the oval.

She trained until it got dark out, she didn't learn any new spells, but she did manage to make the current spells she knows a bit more powerful. She had worn herself out so she sat against a tree and closed her eyes, she only opened them when she felt somebody sit next to her. When she opened her eyes she saw a boy with white hair and brown eyes. He looked down at his phone as he played a game. "I watched you" is all he said "for a long time" he yawns after speaking. "You don't seem like the type to concentrate," she says and he hums in response not denying it at all. "Why were you watching me?" he looks up from his game and into her eyes. "I got interested. In you, your magic, and your familiar" She nods in response then turns her eyes to her familiar who was poking at the white-haired boy familiar, a panda laying in a tree. She heard somebody in the distance calling another's name. The white-haired boy beside her looked down at his game. "I already know your name, most people do. And I'm Nagi Seishiro, the one yelling my name is Reo Mikage. He's looking for me" "You should go then" she watches the boy slowly shake his head. Then eventually the voice calling the boy's name gets closer until a boy with purple hair and purple eyes is a few feet ahead of them. "Nagi, there you are! Did you not hear me calling your name?" he says to the whit-haired boy, and then his purple eyes travel to the witch form, she looks up at the sky and not at him. "Oh, you the new girl from our class" he then smiles at her "I didn't know if I'd ever get the chance to talk to you. You look so frightening in class, hehe" he laughs and extends a hand "I'm Reo Mikage, I already know your name" the girl scratches the back of her neck "and how do you know my name?" he looks amused once she asks that question. "You have to be kidding? You are the only witch student, I doubt many don't know your name by this point" She nods understanding what he meant by that. "You look exhausted, have you been training hard?" she nods in response and he laughs a bit. "You don't talk much do you, you don't react to anything at all. I guess what I've heard is true" she replies with a hum and he looks at Nagi and then back at her. "You should probably go to your dorm and get some rest, well do the same too" he extends a hand to help her up and she takes it, she brushes off any dirt or grass left behind on her clothing and turns to leave. "Bye Y/N" Nagi looks up from his game and waves at the girl who gives him a backward wave in return. "See you in class," Reo says after Nagi gets his response and he can barrel see her nod her head in the dark. Once the witch is gone he turns his head to Nagi. "let's go back to our dorm room. you need to sleep, nagi" he watches as Nagi groans and gets up.
