"Ryan!" Dylan shouted, stepping forward. "What the hell are you doing?"

Ryan whipped around, his eyes wide and unfocused. "Little brother! Guided studies! The demons wanna see my ghost pepper!" he screamed, his voice echoing off the walls as he began hitting his head with his hands in a bizarre rhythm.

Gabe stepped up, trying to regain control of the situation. "You think you're the gooner? I am the gooner!" he declared, trying to break through to his old friend.

Ryan paused, his head tilting as he considered Gabe's words. "Dur dur!" he shouted, a strange grin spreading across his face. Despite his erratic behavior, there was a flicker of recognition in his eyes.

Chapter 4: The Reunion

With a sudden burst of energy, Ryan charged toward the homies. Instead of attacking, he wrapped his arms around Gabe, almost knocking him over. "Homies!" he yelled, his excitement infectious despite the chaos around them.

"Ryan, we've been looking for you!" Jacob exclaimed, relief washing over him. "We need to get you out of here!"

As they pulled away from the lab, the group rallied around Ryan, who was still bouncing with energy, shouting incoherent phrases and hitting his head occasionally. But there was a sense of camaraderie as the homies embraced their friend, even in his peculiar state.

Ryan nodded, still wearing that wild grin, "Ghost pepper party!" he shouted, causing the others to chuckle despite the seriousness of the situation.
