Akshit's Pov

I am super excited today to see myself on the school stage in a position I envied a lot the School Head Boy. Today I will be getting my batch and sash together.
I am standing on the stage right now and principal is making me wear the sash . I am just too proud of myself now. My sister and both of my best friends got their batches .
Suddenly my eyes went towards a girl standing near Titas and Amrita she was the Head Girl as much as I know and the bestie of my sister too . She had the intensity to engulf anyone with those honey brown orbs of her. She is a sweet girl.
***Coughing***
"Abe yaar ladki ko ghurna band kar aur kaam me jaldi lag , tujhe aur hum sabko bulaya gaya ha principal mam ke office me." Neil said.
Time passed and Kalyani and I talked for some time.

All of us went towards the office as I called Kalyani and Titas . In the office we were informed about the farewell party for class 12th as our school ensures that they can study from earlier not getting excited.
The day ended with a hustle bustle in the school as it will be a bagless day for 15 days from now.

The next after discussing with the principal and then the teachers
it was decided that a ball dance will happen along with a skit followed by singing and a solo dance of Kalyani and a trio dance of Titas , Amrita and Kalyani. Also there will be some stalls so that everyone can enjoy themselves. After a lot of discussion everyone decided that the captains according to the designations will be together. So my partner was Kalyani. Like that the school ended.
I came home to see perfect silence and understood that everyone was upstairs discussing about my 17th birthday party. Yes my birthday is tomorrow. I told Neil and Darsh to come but I didn't ask Kalyani as I know father will invite them as uncle is father's close friend.
I went straight to my room and got fresh as mom called me out for lunch. Sitting on the chair I asked papa
"Papa apne bataya tha na ki Harsh uncle apke dost ha to ap unko bole ha na kal ane ko ".
Akshit got a yes in reply and started eating. Suddenly Titas said in his ears
"Bhaiya apko pata ha ki aj apko konsa colour ka suit pehna padega yo ball dance or modeling ke liye , Royal Blue colour kuki Kalyani boli ha yo us colour ka dress pehnegi thik ha na."
I just nodded my head in reply.
I thought of taking a nap and went into my slumber. I woke up I moved towards the washroom and when Anicheta di came to my room and said
"Akshit jara ana na wo thora sa Kam tha to ma bahar ja rahi hu tum ma ko bol dena ki didi stationery shop me gayi hai or tumhara liye kuch gift bhi le aungi. "
I replied to her in ok and sat down for going through some notes but my constantly was diverting towards Kalyani her behaviour ,her smile, her dimple her talks .
I don't know what this feeling was but it has started building in me since I saw her . I shook the thought of and started doing my works .
Around 9 o'clock at night mom called me for dinner as Titas came back from coaching at 8. Suddenly mom told me while eating
" Akshit you know na that Amrita , Titas and Kalyani go to coaching together but I think it's not safe to come back alone at night so I am telling you to go and take them while coming back only at night "
Papa agreed with her and so did I .
After that all went to their respective rooms to do their own work . At midnight there was a knock on my door followed by everyone coming with a cake in Anicheta di's hand . I understood at that moment that she went to buy a cake for me . All of them sang the birthday song as I cut the cake followed by birthday wishes . I am damn happy.
After all this celebration we went in our deep slumber.

Next morning
I am now going to school with Titas . As I entered the campus I was engulfed by a bone breaking hug from both Darsh and Neil . After that they wished me a happy birthday followed by Titas , Kalyani and Amrita .
Darsh and Neil told me that they have a surprise for me in the evening and I was eager for that too.
After assembly we went towards the auditorium for auditions in different fields as well as practice for our ball dance and modelling. I am also having a solo guitar playing.
Kalyani was taking auditions for dance and modelling with the help of Titas and Amrita.
Darsh and I were taking auditions for singing and Neil for skit.
