Omniscient pov:

Armani stretched and let out a yawn as he was getting out bed. He walked in the bathroom and washed his face and brushed teeth before taking a shower.

He showered for about 20 minutes and then got out and went to his closet to go find an outfit for the day. Since he wasn't planning on leaving the house, he decided to just dress in some comfortable clothes before going downstairs to get some breakfast.

"Hey Ma" he greeted his mother who was standing in the kitchen, drinking her morning coffee. "Morning baby, yo brother gonna sleep the day away" she shook her head, referring to how Kasey would stay up all night playing his game and then sleep all day on the weekends.

"Well I gotta go to the store and buy some stuff for Tasha, see you later" she told her son, giving him a kiss on the cheek and leaving out the door.

Mani grabbed some cereal and milk before fixing himself a bowl and sitting down at the table to eat.

After he finished his cereal, he put the bowl and spoon in the sink and went back up to his room. He decided to just lay around in his room until it was time for Chris to come over.

As he was laying back on his bed, his phone started ringing. He answered, seeing it was Jayvion facetiming him. "Wassup Mani, you good?" Jay said once the call connected.

He always made sure to see if Armani was good even if they weren't around each other. "Yeah I'm straight" Mani said back. "That Chris nigga still coming ova' there?" Jayvion asked, Armani nodding head in the camera.

Jay let out a hum and they talked a little more before hanging up, Jayvion wanting to go spend some time with his mother.

A few hours later

Armani went to go open the front door, Chris letting him know he was outside. "Hey Armani" Chris said when Armani opened the door, who mumbled a "Wassup" in response.

After Armani closed and locked the door, Chris followed him up to his room. "You tryna watch a movie or sum?" Chris asked. "Ion' care" Armani shrugged, handing him the remote.

Chris went on Netflix and turned on a random movie that looked interesting before getting comfortable and leaning against the headboard, Armani sitting beside him.

About ten minutes into the movie, Chris broke the silence they had going on. "So why you don't talk that much?" Chris looked over at Armani. "Just don't, ain't really a reason behind it" Mani shrugged, Chris letting out a hum.

"You talk to Jayvion though" Chris spoke up again. "That's cause he my bestfriend and we grew up together" Armani said, scrunching his face up. He was confused on what Jayvion had to do with anything.

"Not gon' lie Armani, there's a reason why I wanted to be friends with you" Chris said, breaking the silence once again. "What you mean?" Armani mugged, not liking the way that sounded.

"Chill, but I'ma be honest wit' you, I be watching you in class and shit and you intrigue me. I'm tryna get to know on a different level if you know what I mean" Chris told the boy.

Armani didn't say anything for a moment before finally speaking up. "You saying you tryna get wit' me?" Armani asked, Chris nodding his head in response. "Well I ain't judging you or nothing but I'm not on that wit' you." Mani spoke truthfully.

Chris didn't know if Armani liked boys or not but he thought it was worth a shot since he never really saw him talking to any girls. In fact, he only ever seen him talking to Jayvion.

"That's cool" Chris shrugged at his answer, thinking  he would be able to change his mind.

On the other hand, Jayvion was listening behind the closed door. He had came over because he forgot his charger but he stopped at Armani's door when he heard them talking.
