Omniscient pov:

Armani sprayed some cologne on as he finished getting dressed for school. It was the day after him and Jayvion kissed, neither of them got to dwell on it though because Kasey called right after, needing help so Armani had to leave.

They hadn't talked since, not because of any bad feelings or anything but because they were thinking about what happened. Armani has never really liked anyone and Jayvion has only been with girls so it was new for the both of them.

Mani walked out of his room, hearing a car horn, letting him know Jay was outside. He walked out the door with Kasey right behind him, both of them getting in their usual seats.

"Wassup Mani, you straight?" Jayvion said, looking over at him holding his hand out so they could do their handshake. "I'm cool" Armani mumbled, doing their handshake, both of them holding the handshake longer than usual and staring at each other.

They snapped out of their trance and let go of each other before Jay backed out the driveway and started the drive to school.

"I'm not gon' lie Jay, it's been so peaceful at the house with you gone" Kasey sighed in contempt. "Early in the morning and you still on my dick, can a nigga get a break at least?" Jayvion shook his head, Kasey sticking up his middle finger and sitting back in his seat.

The rest of the ride was silent and eventually they pulled up to the school. Everybody doing their usual routine before heading to class.

A few hours later

Jayvion and Armani were now sitting at their usual lunch table. "So is we finna talk about it?" Jay asked his bestfriend, referring to the kiss they shared. "At school nigga?" Mani deadpanned.

"Nah come over and we can talk about it after school, I'm not working today" Jayvion replied, Armani nodding his head in response.

"Yo Armani" Chris said walking up to the table. "Yo?" Mani mumbled confused, seeing as Chris didn't even have this lunch. "Chill I ain't stalking you or nun' I had to give my friend sum" Chris chuckled, noticing the look on Armani's face.

"But I was wondering if you wanted to chill again after school, my house this time" Chris smiled, glancing at Jayvion, who's jaw was clenched. "Nah he cool he got plans wit' me" Jayvion mugged.

"Well Armani just let me know when you free" he smiled before walking away. "You better not go to that weird ass nigga's house" Jayvion turned to look at Armani.

"Chill you know I'm not on that with him" Mani mumbled. They both got up and did their handshake before walking to class, hearing the bell ring signaling the end of lunch and they both went to the rest of their classes.

after school, Jayvion's house

Armani and Jayvion both got out of the car and walked inside his house. "Hey Ma" Jay spoke, walking over to his mother and giving her a hug before giving her a kiss on the cheek. "Hey Auntie" Mani smiled at her, also giving her a hug.

"Hey my sweet boys, what y'all about to do?" She smiled up at them. "Just go in my room and chill" Jayvion told her with a shrug. "Okay well, do you mind taking me to the store later?" She questioned.

"You know I will Ma" Jayvion told her, before walking to his room, Armani following. They both walked into the room, shutting the door behind them and sitting on the bed.

It was silent for a minute, them both sorting out their thoughts before Jayvion finally spoke up. "I'm just gon' put it all on the floor. I ain't neva' been with another nigga before but I'm feeling you and I wanna see where this goes." Jay spoke, looking into the boy's eyes.

"And what if it don't work out?" Armani mumbled. "Then we can go back to being bestfriends, we ain't gon lose each other either way" Jayvion said truthfully.

"Let's try it then" Mani shrugged, willing to give it a chance. "Bet" was all Jay said before he grabbed Armani's chin and pulled him in for a kiss.

The kiss was slow and sweet, them both relishing in the feeling. After a minute of their lips moving against each other, Armani pulled back. "Jay" he whispered, looking up at him.

"My bad couldn't help myself but we can take shit slow, ain't no need to rush" he assured, Mani nodding his head in agreement.

"Alright come on so we can take Ma to the store" Jayvion said, standing up off the bed and pulling Armani up with him. They both walked out the room and headed to the car, Armani getting in the back so Tasha could sit in the passenger's seat.

The car ride was in a comfortable silence for the most part, Tasha humming lowly. They pulled up to the store in about 15 minutes, them all getting out the car.

Tasha grabbed a cart and the two boys just followed behind her. "I just need a few things I won't take long" She told them. "Take yo time Ma, we not in a rush" Jay said.

After waking around the store for a little bit, she found everything she needed and they walked to the register to pay. "Oh Jay I forgot to get the juice the doctor recommended for me, can you go get it real quick?" Tasha asked her son, who nodded his head and walked away.

"Don't think I don't notice that both of y'all look happier today" Tasha turned to Mani with a suggestive smirk on her face. "I don't know what you talking about Auntie" Armani said, trying to hide his smile. "Mhm" she hummed, shaking her head with a smile of her own.

She always thought the two would end up together, noticing they seemed a little more close than most bestfriends. She was honestly glad both of her boys could make each other happy.

Jayvion came back with the juice and payed, even though she insisted for him not to. The grabbed the bags and left the store, getting back in the car.

"Mani you going home or you wanna stay with us?" Jay questioned, looking at him through the rear view mirror. "With y'all" he responded, pulling out his phone so he could text his mom and let her know.

They pulled up to the house and they all went inside, going to their respective places, Armani following Jay of course.

They changed into some comfortable clothes, Mani having clothes in Jay's closet despite them usually being over Keisha's house. After they were all set, they got into the bed and got comfortable, leaning up against the headboard.

Jayvion turned on a random show they both liked and they both started watching it. "Aye Mani" Jayvion said after a few minutes. "Hm?" Armani hummed, not taking his eyes off the tv.

"What happened with that girl Peyton?" He asked, randomly remembering her tryna get with Mani. "She barely look at or talk to me anymore" Armani shrugged, not really caring about it.

"First her then Chris, you over here pulling both genders and you don't even talk forreal, they must think you one of them quiet mysterious niggas. Whole time you just antisocial and boring" Jay shook his head.

"You wasn't complaining earlier" Mani said lowly with a shrug, referring to Jayvion kissing him again. "Oh it's like that?" The taller widened his eyes with a playful smile, causing Armani to smile as well.

Jay let out a yawn and layed down, getting comfortable in his bed. Armani looked down at him before laying down next to him, getting comfortable too.

Jayvion looked over at him and contemplated for a minute before saying fuck it and pulling Armani to lay on his chest. Mani was surprised at first but then he got comfortable, laying his head on his chest and his arm across his stomach.

Jayvion left a kiss on the shorter's forehead before closing his eyes and drifting off to sleep. Armani listened to him breathe for a minute before following suit and falling asleep as well.

Tasha peeked in the room to tell them goodnight but smiled when she saw their position and took a picture before turning off the light and going to her own room to sleep.
