Hello there,
Today I want to talk about something very important about this story "Love Through Online" of mine.
As a writer, I believe in the sanctity of genuine creativity. True writing is a process undertaken sincerely, purety, and with a deep respect for originality. It is not about copying, re-editing, or rewriting someone else’s work, nor about replicating another’s ideas or words or conversation. Being a writer has nothing to do with fame; anyone with a story can write at any time. However, the goal should always be authenticity—creating stories and dialogues that are one’s own, born from personal experience and imagination.
But sometimes, some stories may appear similar or relatable, even though they are independently crafted by different writers. Dialogues, conversations between characters, or even the overarching themes of two or more stories can occasionally bear resemblance. In such cases, readers might feel confused or even offended. This is no one’s fault, yet it is also beyond anyone’s control.
Here, readers hold a significant role in a writer's experience. When a reader approaches a story with understanding, support, and careful attention to each storyline, they can more readily discern the subtle differences between stories that may seem alike.
With this in mind, I want to clarify something about my current story. This work is based on real-life experiences. Initially, I hesitated to reveal this, as I valued the personal nature of the story. However, a recent accusation has brought this to light. Someone has kind of accused me that I may be copying or observing their online conversations with friends and incorporating those into my work.
I'm not fully blaming the person who actually accused me. Let's be understanding here . Maybe she got really confused. But still......
This accusation genuinely hurt me. I cannot control if someone’s friend speaks similarly to a character in my story. It's not in my hand if someone's friend also talk like 'Taehyung' who's dialogues are actually created by me.
The character of "Taehyung" in my narrative is inspired by someone very close to me, not by anyone else’s conversations or relationships. For me, copying or rewriting another person’s words is not only wrong; it’s a violation of a writer’s ethics. Writing is about creating something that’s inherently unique and reflective of the writer’s own truth. I hope this clears any misunderstandings and reaffirms my commitment to authenticity in my work.
When this story will come to an end, I will let you know the real story of my life. I'm writing this story for someone special. Because I miss him. So I'm indirectly mentioning this character of Taehyung "As that friend of mine ” in this story.
So please patiently wait for this story to end and read every chapter sincerely without any negative judgement. Im requesting to all of you not to misunderstand or misjudge me.
The real readers, will definitely know my sincerity and will understand me. In this journey of writing, both writer and the readers should be respectful. If you don't like my story then no need to read it but you don't have any right to accuse me or disrespect me.
I will respect you as long as you are respecting me and my writing skills.
Thank you.🩵
