I walk into the  school lunch yard yawning my head off as I walk towards the table of friends I have. I'm so lucky to call them my friends, sitting in the open spot on the table is a bunch of food.

"Hey Liv, you tired again? That's the second day in a row now. Please make sure to look after yourself too." Missy stated as she rubs her hand up and down my back.

"I will Missy, but if you keep doing that, you'll put me to sleep." I say, sighing in the midst of my sentence.

Laughing she pulls her hand away and slaps the back of my head lightly, causing me to jump alerted.

"You awake now?" She asks playfully.

I roll my eyes at her and smile slightly, opening the bag of food, I find there's a sausage roll with tomato sauce, along with a few lollies and some chocolates. Sitting beside the bag is a can of coke.

"You guys are a god sent from above, I swear" I say, holding my hand over my heart and smiling at all of them.

"Well considering you didn't walk in with your bag this morning, we figured you would have forgotten your lunch as well. So you're welcome." Lane smiles at me.

"Oh shit! I forgot my bag! Damn it! How is this possible?" I ask.

"You're busy all the time, it's impossible for you to remember everything. And considering you make sure to remember about your siblings and the importance it is for them to be taken care of, we know how easy it is for you to be put on hold." Tony states, rolling his eyes.

Wow! A little hostile there. Okay, someone is pmsing right now.

"Right! Im heading to class." I get up with my food and head out.

I sat at the back of the class room to make sure that I wasn't in my teachers line of sight. Mrs Lang always picked kids to answer her questions from the front and middle areas, truly knowing that everyone who sat at the back, really couldn't be bothered to answer them, and today I just didn't feel like it. I typed everything that she was saying on my computer, so I would at least know what her exam will have in it.

I wonder how Sam and Sarah are going right now. Sam's got his detention this afternoon and Sarah is upset that she has to stay there until he has finished, so I guess they both have detention somewhat. That was an argument I didn't want this morning, but I can't afford to make two trips to go and picked them up, and she understood after I explained it to her.

At least she has the library to be able to do her homework whilst she waits. I'm assuming Sam will do his in detention. I have to do mine somehow throughout the weekend in between work.

Sarah is going out with her friends Saturday night and Sam has a game on Sunday, which I'm planning on going to, I'm hoping that I don't get called into work.

"Okay, so can anyone tell me why we do this in literature?" Mrs Lane asks the class.

Most of the kids in the back slouch down in their seat, myself included. If I could just get my courses online, that would be so much better. I thought.

I tune the rest of the class out, only packing my bag and heading out as soon as the bell rings.

Walking towards my locker I find Missy standing there already waiting for me.

"How'd you get out so quickly?" I ask.

"You were in the front row, soaking up all the information you could." I added.

"I ran." She states, as if it's the only logical answer.

I chuckle, shaking my head and open my locker. Putting my things in I grab my lunch and we start walking to the lunch yard.
