Busy days and worrying nights

Since last chapter was pretty much a filler here's a bit more of the story for you!

The campus was abuzz with the flurry of preparations for the upcoming freshmen events. Everywhere, students were pulling long hours to get everything just right, and Phuwin and Fourth were no exception. The two had been buried under projects, pulling constant overnighters to keep up with assignments and the endless tasks for the events.

Gemini was just as swamped, spending hours in the studio preparing for performances. Between rehearsals and the dance events, he barely had time to breathe. Luckily, Pond and Joong were always around to help him out, giving advice and pushing him to keep up with his training.

After another evening full of rehearsals Gemini found himself outside the arts building, waiting for Boom to pick him and his brothers up. Pond and Joong stood with him, chatting lightly about the festival tomorrow. The atmosphere was calm for a change, the busy day finally winding down.

"Boom should be here any minute," Joong said, checking his phone. "Where are your brothers tho?."

Dunk and Fourth arrived a few minutes later, Fourth looking exhausted with dark circles under his eyes managing a tired smile. Gemini noticed right away that Phuwin wasn't with them, and a slight frown creased his brow.

"Where's Phuwin?" Gemini asked, glancing over Dunk's shoulder. Beside him, Pond looked curious too, leaning over to look.

Joong, chuckled quietly at Pond's face. "Looks like someone else is worried about Phuwin too," he teased lightly.

Pond scowled, crossing his arms defensively. "I'm not worried! Just... wondering."

Dunk, smirked, explaining, "Lung came by a couple of hours ago. He was worried about Phuwin, so he took him home early to rest. Kid was running on fumes."

Gemini nodded in understanding, though he did look concerned. Phuwin always worked so hard, but with his anemia and tendency to push himself, it wasn't surprising that Mix had stepped in. Gemini said, shaking his head. "Phuwin always overdoes it."

"Yeah," Dunk agreed. "But Mix has him resting, so he should be fine by tomorrow."

Pond let out a small sigh of relief, though he quickly covered it with a shrug.

Fourth, despite his exhaustion, grinned at Pond's face. "You look like you're ready to run to him."

Pond flushed slightly, rolling his eyes. "Whatever. Let's just go."

Before they could continue teasing Pond, Boom's car pulled up, and the group piled in. As they settled into the car, Dunk stretched and looked at the others. "So, drinks tomorrow after the festival? We deserve a little celebration after all this madness."

Joong grinned from the passenger seat. "Count me in. It'll be nice to relax after everything."

Gemini glanced at Pond, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Pond, you're coming too, right? Or are you too busy 'not' worrying about Phuwin?"

Pond shot Gemini a half-hearted glare but didn't protest. "Yeah, yeah. I'll be there. Just don't make it weird."

The car filled with laughter as they made their way back home.
