I groaned as I woke up to find ginger, perched on my chest and licking my face.I greeted him in a raspy voice, feeling hot and sweaty after a long nap.

I promptly got out of bed and prepared myself before leaving my room, placing ginger next to the cat's food bowl so he could eat.

"Are you awake?" Allen inquired as he arranged the food on the dining table.I approached the table and replied with a nod, admiring the delicious food in front of me.

"Please stop drooling, all this food is for you to enjoy," Allen chuckled as he observed my eager expression. "Are you serious?Ally, you're amazing - I love you,"I exclaimed, blowing invisible kisses to him sitting opposite me.

He looked at me with disapproval, his eyes widening.I chuckled and kept eating my food.Allen, with a mouthful of broccoli, asked,"Have you checked your documents for tomorrow?", I cringed at the sight of broccoli."Yes, everything is prepared, I just need to submit them."

When moving from one hospital to another, it is necessary to transfer certain copies of documents and medical records upon starting at the new hospital.Although I currently have some important documents, they may not be sufficient, but the situation can be managed for the time being.

"I hope everything will go smoothly tomorrow ," Allen sighed, "everything will be okay, even in the unlikely event that something goes wrong, don't forget you have plenty of money to handle any issues" I replied confidently, giving him a proud look.He gazed into my eyes, we locked eyes and shared a moment of silent humor before bursting into laughter together.

I'm not sure why we're laughing,

but it warms my heart

The following day, we were running late for work as we had stayed up watching Tom and Jerry until late at night.We both enjoy watching Tom and Jerry - I mean, who doesn't?If you don't, it's probably best not to mention it to me.

Anyway, because we were late, we hurried to get ready for work."I'll drive," Allen stated as he took the keys from the hook and walked outside.

I brought Ginger, with me and secured the door before stepping out.Since Ginger cannot come to the hospital with me, I hope he will stay at the animal daycare cafe without any issues because if he dislikes anyone there, it could be a problem.

Rushing into the car, I left Ginger behind and, to be honest, it felt like a near-death experience. Allen's driving abilities might just be the ticket to heaven for me.Every single living creature would probably agree after witnessing the driver hitting the curb and narrowly avoiding running over numerous things while casually saying, "Oops."

I shouted Once we reach our destination, "You know that was illegal right," As clutched the area near my heart on my clothing, attempting to calm down my racing heartbeat. "Even though it's against the law, I think we'll be okay because I have a lot of money,"Allen said nonchalantly.

I did mention that, but it was in a different context, you idiot.

I looked at him in disbelief for a few moments before getting out of the car.

The hospital where I currently work is considered one of the finest hospitals in the world.It's designed in such a way that it resembles more of a luxury hotel than a typical hospital.The architecture of the hospital is so impressive that without any signs, visitors might mistake it for a hotel.

I said farewell to Allen and headed to the office to hand in my paperwork and complete my onboarding process.Once that was done, I went to my office space, which I must say is exceptionally lovely.It may not have the extravagant look of a wealthy individual's room, but it exudes a simple elegance that is aesthetically pleasing.

It suits my style.

While I was appreciating the aesthetics of the room, I heard a knock at the door.I straightened up and gave permission for the person to enter.A young man in his twenties entered the room and greeted me by saying,"Nice to meet you, Mr. Huang. I'm Ben Clarkson, your da.I am currently an intern, but I hope to secure this job permanently next year."

I listened to his greetings as I searched through his documents right to the bottom of the piles of paper."It's a pleasure to meet you as well, since you've been here longer than I have, I would appreciate any guidance you can offer," I responded with a polite smile.

Afterwards, he stared at me in a daze and I instinctively began to touch my face."Is there something wrong with my face?"It's strange, I made sure to check my face before coming and it looked fine.

"I'm sorry, I just couldn't help but notice your lovely smile, doctor," Ben said sheepishly, his cheeks turning a rosy shade."Thank you," I replied with a smile."Shall we begin?"

It had been quite a long day, particularly for me.I felt the urge to go home and relax with ginger. Ben was really helpful, and I appreciate him being here or else I would have fled on my first day at work like a runaway bride.

After washing up and changing out of my doctor's uniform into regular clothes, I was preparing to leave when Dr. Steven, who works in the neurology department, asked me, "Aren't you staying for orientation, Mr. Huang?"peeking his head around the door.

"No, I'm not going to go.I'm feeling a bit low, that's why," I politely declined his invitation."But isn't Dr. Allen joining us? I heard you two are housemates?" he inquired."Yes, we do share a living space. I will fetch him once the party ends," I responded as I packed and rearranged things.

"Oh, I assumed you both would come together. I am quite eager to learn more about you," he pouted and lightly kicked the door."You can learn about me at any time, just not today," I stated, glancing at him.

"Jesus Christ, just leave me alone.I really want to leave and go home." Although I wanted to express exactly that, I ended up apologizing as the words got caught in my throat.

On my way back home, I phoned Allen and advised him to be mindful of his alcohol intake, as his tolerance is not as high as he seems to think.

I mean who would twerk while crying after drinking, apparently Allen is that crazy to do so.

Later, I picked up Ginger and was pleased to see that he had been well-behaved all day.

Both of us returned to our houses, and straightaway collapsed on the couch.I'm absolutely exhausted.

Get up

Survive

And lastly go back to bed

But Still I feel good working cause it's make me feel alive
