The cozy living room is bustling with laughter as Fatima and Zac unwind after a long day. Fatima flips through a magazine while Zac scrolls through his phone. Suddenly, Fatima's phone rings on the coffee table, interrupting their moment.

Fatima:(looking at the caller ID) Who's this?

Zac peers over, curiosity piqued.

Zac:Looks like an unknown number. Answer it?

Fatima shrugs, picks up the phone, and answers with a cheerful tone.

Fatima:Hello?

Karen:(voice dripping with malice) Fatima, it's Karen.

Instantly, the air in the room thickens. Fatima's expression shifts, annoyance replacing her earlier cheerfulness.

Fatima:(smirking) Ah, the ghost from Zac's past. What do you want, Karen?

Karen:I want you to stop thinking you can take my place.

Fatima rolls her eyes, glancing at Zac with a bemused expression.

Fatima:That's rich coming from the ex. Is that really all you've got?

Karen:You have no idea who you're dealing with. You're messing with my life!

Fatima leans back on the couch, unfazed by Karen's anger.

Fatima:Oh, I'm very aware. But this is my life now, and I'm not going anywhere.

Karen:You should be careful, Fatima. I wouldn't want anything to happen to you.

A slight chuckle escapes Fatima's lips, her confidence shining through.

Fatima:Seriously? Is that supposed to scare me? You may need to work on your intimidation tactics.

Karen:(snarling) I'm not playing games, Fatima. You think this is some kind of joke?

Zac frowns, concern building as he listens.

Zac:(firmly)Karen, we're not interested in what you have to say.

Fatima nods in agreement, never breaking her confident demeanor.

Fatima:We're happy together, and you need to accept that.

Karen:(fuming) You're pushing me too far. I might just have to show you how serious I am.

Fatima leans forward, a playful smile tugging at her lips.

Fatima:What, are you going to threaten me? That's your big move? Karen, please. I'm not intimidated by your empty threats.

Karen:(sneering) You have no idea what I'm capable of.

Fatima straightens up, her voice steady and unwavering.

Fatima:Then why don't you show me? Because I can promise you this—I won't back down.

Karen is momentarily silent, clearly taken aback by Fatima's feisty response.

Karen:(breathless) You think you're so tough, don't you?

Fatima:Yeah, I do. And trust me, from what I know, I can handle a little heat

Yeah, I do. And trust me, from what I know, I can handle a little heat

Karen:You don't know what you're getting into, Fatima. You better watch your back.

Fatima:Oh no, whatever will I do? Don't worry, I've got a great security system—my fiancé and my gun.

Fatima's playful tone is unwavering, her confidence radiating through the call.

Fatima:So, unless you plan on coming over here yourself, I suggest you take a step back and leave us alone.

Karen:You're making a huge mistake, Fatima.

Fatima:No, Karen. You made the mistake by not moving on. Now, are we done here?

Another beat of silence follows before Karen suddenly hangs up.

A moment later, the distinct sound of a car door slamming echoes through the quiet evening. Fatima stands up, curiosity piqued, and heads toward the window for a better look.

Fatima:(looking out) Ugh. It's her.

Zac quickly joins her at the window, his indecision clear.

Zac:Are you sure?

Fatima squints, recognizing Karen getting out of a flashy car, her posture radiating defiance.

Fatima:Yeah, that's definitely Karen.she must have a death wish.

Zac:Just be careful.

Fatima nods, determination in her eyes as she strides toward the front door.

Fatima steps outside, the cool air hitting her face. She watches as Karen saunters up the walkway, a fierce expression on her face. The air is tense, charged with the weight of unresolved conflict.

Karen:(smirking) Well, well, well. If it isn't the new girlfriend.

Fatima crosses her arms, confronting Karen head-on.

Fatima:What do you want, Karen?

Karen:I thought I'd come by and remind you that you're just a rebound for Zac. He'll realize that sooner or later.

Fatima doesn't flinch, standing tall.

Fatima:And I thought I'd remind you that rebounds can last a lot longer than you think.

Karen's smile falters ever so slightly, but she quickly composes herself.

Karen:You better watch yourself, Fatima. You don't want to end up hurt.

Fatima takes a step forward, her voice steady.

Fatima:You think I'm scared of you? I stood up to you over the phone, and I'm not backing down now. You can't just waltz in here and act like you own the place.

Karen:(fuming) You have no idea what I'm capable of.

Fatima rolls her eyes, unfazed by the intimidation tactic.

Fatima:Oh please, I've dealt with bullies before. You think yelling at me will change anything? Zac and I are together, and nothing you say or do will change that.

Zac steps out onto the porch, having overheard the exchange, clearly worried but also proud of Fatima's bravado.

Zac:(voice calm) Karen, this really isn't a good idea.

Karen glares at him, her frustration evident.

Karen:Stay out of this, Zac. This is between me and her.

Fatima:No, it's not. You want Zac to be with you? Then you better start acting like an adult.

Karen:(voice rising) You don't get to tell me how to act!

Fatima takes a deep breath, holding her ground
