Last Friday, there was a guidance session for 10/11 grades.
During the session, the teacher said, "You can't ever eat rice with rice or dal with dal."

(For those confused: What the teacher meant was that a girl shouldn't be too close to another girl, and the same goes for boys with boys.)

I have a question about that:
"Usually, people don't eat rice with rice or dal with dal. But if someone wants to eat that way, can't they? If someone likes to eat rice with rice, would it really be that big of a problem? Is it fair to judge them just because of how they like to eat? In the world, everyone has the right to choose what they like. Sometimes, their choices may seem unusual, but that doesn't mean it's wrong, right? If we mix rice and dal and enjoy it, does that mean everyone else also has to eat the same way?"

Thoughts like this keep running through my mind... (It's hard for me to express them properly, but my thoughts feel so small and simple).

I really want to ask you guys this: Am I wrong for thinking this way? I can't talk about these thoughts with anyone else because I feel like I'm just a little flower in a big world. So please, just tell me—am I thinking right or wrong? This question has been bothering me since I heard that teacher's speech.

Please, say something... this whole thing is giving me a headache.
