I tried to sleep but spent the entire night in panic. Why did he do that? Why did he kiss me? And why the fuck did I allow it? Did I want it? No... he is my brother! Oh my, if someone finds out about this, there will be war for sure. My job is peace, not war, peace not war... I tried to calm down. No one saw, so it's all good, and he will not tell for sure. All good.

My heart jumps when a maid knocked on the door. "Miss, you have to wake up and get ready for breakfast."

I stood up and opened the door to her. She curtseyed to me. "Your Majesty has invited guests, so we will have breakfast in the garden today." I nodded and thanked her, letting her go.

I had a suspicion who it was, but I wasn't expecting them to be so quick with the marriage issues. I needed to prepare, but I also didn't know exactly how I was supposed to do it. Okay, let's calm down and focus on what I can do now, which is to pick an 'okay' dress so I don't look too pretty for my future husband, and maybe he'll give up the idea. Yeah! Good plan! Don't provoke war with words, but keep the peace with the help of a dress.

I picked the most covered dress I had, something like an older person would wear, and went straight to the garden, which was at the entrance of the palace and not difficult to find. It was a beautiful day, with the sun shining and the flowers in full bloom. There, at a round table in the garden, already eating, was that jerk with blond hair—King Stefan's son.

"There she is, my beautiful future wife. Let me tell you, when we're married, I'll get you a better dressmaker," he said, taking a sip of wine.

"My dressmaker is fine, thank you for your concern," I said, sitting on the far corner of the table. "Wow, so much food. Are we waiting for someone else?"

As I asked, we spotted Helies coming from the opposite side of the palace entrance, accompanied by a girl in a very simple dress that made her look cute. Helies pulled out a chair beside me and gestured for the girl to sit. Then he took the seat on my other side.

"I'm Princess Massala from the Desert. My pleasure to share a meal with you all," the girl said, smiling at Helies. Like, where is the question. No one cared, right? She didn't look exotic like I had heard. People there have parties where they don't wear clothes—can you imagine?

"Please eat, princess, I told you, no need to be shy." Helies smiled at her. She blushed and picked up a piece of bread, taking a bite of it. The blond man watched us with a smirk, his eyes locked on Helies hand while he fills his glass with juice.

"Well, well, well," he said, leaning back in his chair. "I never thought you were the type to be interested in shy ones, Prince Helies."

"Shut up," I snapped, glaring at the blond man. "What is your problem? Why can't you be a normal, kind person?"

He laughed, looking at me as if I was something amusing. "Ohhh...she is definitely not shy, I bet you will scream when I destroy that dress." He licked his lips, his eyes burning with hunger as he looked at me.

Helies growled next to me, but the princess beside him didn't move. I turned to face him. "You should be more careful with your words. This is not your kingdom."

"Or what?" he challenged, his voice cold and menacing.
