I hate my life. Okay, maybe that's a little overreacted but my life obviously hates me.
I was so close to get Commander Darkwood to give in and let us have a free day for the ball, which means that I would've won the game, when the news came.
The fucking news.
"I can't believe that Princess Althea ran away!", Elyisa said, lavender colour swirling around her.
I would be confused too, if I wouldn't be too busy cursing at Althea in my head. She's the reason I didn't win. Mean.
"I can't believe it either. I almost won the game! How dare she ruin everything.", I complained and got a warning glare from Elysia.
"Right. Princess ran away. Not good.", I rolled my eyes.
I probably should care since I'm going to serve the royal family of Lysanthia and Mythrae and Lyndoria are allies. But whoever messes with my bets is a bitch.
"She always seemed like she would never do something like that. Rule follower, polite, always listening,..", Elysia talked further.
"Control freak", I added and got another glare.
"What? It is true. Not that I'm judging, I don't want to know how it is to be a princess, but she always needs to have everything under control. Or at least she seems so in public. We don't know how she truly is.", I tried to defend myself but just got even more pinned down with Elysias and Scarlets glare.
"Okay, fine. She's not a control freak.", I gave up.
"Great. But there must be something wrong.", Elysia turned towards Scarlet again.
"Maybe she ran away because she didn't want to get married off to some stranger.", I spoke up again.
"Can't you just keep your stupid ideas-", Scarlet got ready to scold me again but trailed off as she truly realised what I said.
"That's actually not that stupid.", she agreed grumbling.
"Thank you! Always complaining even though I have great ideas!", I scolded her now.
"You don't always have great ideas.", Elysia and Scarlet said at the same time.
"Of course I do! My ideas are brilliant!"
I felt offended at how they didn't realise how perfect my ideas are.
"Do you remember when you told us to jump off the cliff together because it would be fun and totally harmless?", Scarlet started.
"And we ended up in a huge crocodiles mouth? Who only didn't ate us because a nice girl that saw us was able to talk to the crocodile and made him let us go?", Elysia added immediately after Scarlet.
"That was one time. And c'mon, except for the near death experience, it was fun!"
"When you thought that it was a great idea to change all of our weapons to fake weapons and not tell us? And then when we got attacked we had no weapons?", Scarlet scoffed.
"I forgot to change the weapons back, I agree it wasn't super smart but your faces were perfect."
"When you decided it would be fun to skip training and Commander Darkwood was absolutely furious when he found us?", Elysia reminded me.
Damn it.
"Okay, that wasn't my best idea. That's true. But it doesn't mean that I always have bad ideas!"
"Sure. But yeah, what if she ran away because of the ball? Or maybe she got kidnapped!", Scarlet turned away from me to focus on Elysia while saying that.
