Jungkook lay on the bonnet of his car, parked in a secluded forest clearing. The only sounds were the chirping of birds and the distant hum of a stream. His eyes, bloodshot from the alcohol, stared blankly at the sky.
"Damn it," Jungkook muttered to himself, recalling the previous night's events. "Why did he have to be so scared of me?"
Jungkook's fists clenched, his anger resurfacing. He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down.
Just then, his phone rang, breaking the silence. Jungkook groggily reached for it, his eyes squinting at the screen.
"Suga," he answered, his voice husky from the hangover.
"Jung, where are you?" Suga's voice came through the line, laced with concern.
"I'm...uh...just taking a drive," Jungkook replied, trying to sound nonchalant.
"Drive? At this hour? Jung, come home immediately. We need to talk," Suga ordered.
Jungkook sighed, rubbing his temples. "Fine, I'm coming."
He ended the call and slowly got down from the bonnet, his head spinning. He took a moment to collect himself before getting into the driver's seat and starting the engine.
As he drove back to the Malhotra mansion, Jungkook's mind raced with thoughts of Jimin and the previous night's encounter. He knew he needed to confront his emotions and figure out why he was so drawn to Jimin, despite the fear he inspired in him.
The trees blurred together as Jungkook sped down the winding roads, his heart heavy with introspection.
What would await him at the mansion? And how would he face Jimin again? Only time would tell.
As Jungkook pulled into the mansion's driveway, he noticed Suga's car already parked outside. He took a deep breath, preparing himself for the conversation that was about to ensue.
Jungkook stepped out of the car and walked towards the entrance, where Suga was waiting for him.
"Hey, man," Suga said, his expression serious. "We need to talk."
"About what?" Jungkook asked, feigning ignorance.
"Don't play dumb, Jungkook. I know what happened at the party. Taehyung told me everything," Suga said, his eyes locked on Jungkook's.
Jungkook's eyes flashed with defensiveness, but he bit back his retort. "What did he say?"
"That you and Jimin had a moment. And I think we both know what that means," Suga said, his voice low and even.
Jungkook looked away, unable to meet Suga's gaze. He knew Suga was aware of his feelings for Jimin.
"Jungkook, you need to be careful. Jimin is still figuring things out, and you can't push him into something he's not ready for," Suga said, his tone cautionary.
Jungkook nodded, feeling a pang of guilt. He knew Suga was right. He needed to give Jimin space, no matter how hard it was for him.
Jimin groggily opened his eyes to the sound of his phone ringing. He rubbed the sleep from his eyes and answered the call.
"Hey, wake up! You have class in three hours," Aryan's voice came through the line.
Jimin sat up, suddenly alert. "Shit, I forgot! Thanks for reminding me, Aryan. I'll be there in two hours."
"Better hurry, Jimin! You don't want to be late" Aryan chuckled before hanging up.
Jimin sprang out of bed and rushed to the bathroom. He turned on the shower, letting the warm water wash away his sleepiness. He quickly washed his hair, feeling the refreshing water revive him.
