"Ma'am, It's imperative that you attend high school with the pack members."

Callista frowned. She stopped playing with her Rubik's cube and looked up from where she was sitting on her office table. "Is that why you called me here?"

Sebastian, her father's right hand man (basically a secretary), clutched his clipboard and continued, "Your reputation makes you inapproachable. You must form a bond with the future members of the pack, so they recognise you as their leader and trust you. For that, you must interact with them."

His black eyes travelled to her feet propped up on the table,"And please take your boots off the table."

Callista huffed out a laugh, running a hand through her long, jet black hair, moving them out of her yellow eyes. "Just say it as it is, buddy. Dad just wants me to make more friends."

He sighed,"He wants you to have some time for yourself. Ever since you fought off and killed the attackers from the Red Crescent pack, the young members have been somewhat afraid of you. Frankly, I was a little afraid too when I saw you that day. This may be a problem when you make important decisions, you might be called too unstable to be the leader."

Callista hummed in thought, and finally took her feet off the table to stand up. She picked up her jacket that was draped on the chair behind her and put it on.

She zipped it up, "Okay. I was tired of homeschooling anyway. I have been enrolled in the science course for my senior year, correct?"

"Now I know that you don't want to- wait, what?", Sebastian blinked with confusion.

Callista smirked in amusement, "I'm ready to go, pretty excited, really. Give me all the details."

Sebastian dropped his clipboard in shock. Were his ears deceiving him? The Callista? Excited for school?

"Since when do you like school?" He whispered.

She raised an eyebrow, "I never hated school, I just didn't like it cuz' it was always too easy. But, ya know," she shrugged, "-there will be more people this time, more competition."

Sebastian smiled in relief. He knew that "more competition" was definitely not the reason she agreed to go to public school, but at least he didn't have to spend half a day and all of his energy convincing her now. "I shall tell your father at once! You will start tomorrow."

"Hey, you. Do you know where the Economics class is? "

Elias stopped reading about tomatoes and looked up from his book. A kid was standing beside his desk.

"Yeah, uh, third room down the corridor. You're new?" He replied with a smile. He was new too, but had already memorized the map.

"Yeah man. This school is huge and confusing as heck. Thanks, though." The kid turned to go out of the classroom, but hesitated and turned back.

"Hey uh, dude. If you don't mind me asking, your eyes are violet, so like, are you... A rogue?"

Elias's smile dropped. Aw shit. He was hoping this wouldn't happen, but oh well. Here we go. Same old song and dance.
