Argos sat up from his bed, his head pounding with a raging headache – And although he was used to it, it still bothered him. Quite irritating.

As always – He gripped the top of his head. The concussion was intended to be gone by now, yet he felt his head pounding harder by the second. But, he couldn't stay in bed another day – Today was his birthday, and this year, fortunately enough – He had a boyfriend to spend it with. No more devouring an entire Walmart cake alone, Argos internally celebrated. He wanted nothing more than to spend the day with his boyfriend, and he wasn't going to let anyone stop him. It's my birthday, He huffed slightly under his breath, I'm not going to let anybody ruin it.

Argos lifted his phone off the desk, wiping his eyes groggily, his mind still foggy with the clouds of sleep. He sat up, pushing his blanket off of his body, and standing up. Argos walked out to the kitchen, rubbing his eyes tiredly – And was greeted by Mr. Plant cooking breakfast, the aroma of eggs and bacon hugging his stomach. He felt a flutter of butterflies as he saw Mr. Plant – Shirtless, cooking. His eyes roamed over his muscular, scarred back, his breath hitching abruptly in his throat.

"...Hey."

Mr. Plant glanced over his shoulder, flipping both of the eggs. He gave him a small nod, as if saying hello – Nonchalant compared to the amount of red on Argos' face. Argos approached Mr. Plant, stepping over to where he was cooking, looming over the food. "...Looks good."

Mr. Plant gave another small, modest nod, a light shade of red creeping up his face sheepishly. Argos held up a plate, Mr. Plant placing the breakfast onto the glassware almost silently.

As Argos sat down, his gaze never left Mr. Plant. Mr. Plant usually slept in until 3pm, but – He got up, just for Argos. Argos felt a pang of affection for him as he averted his gaze, biting into one of the eggs' thick yolk.

Mr. Plant sat next to Argos, quietly eating. Argos looked over at the strong man, who usually had a problem with eating due to his severe anorexia – Which he had been struggling with for years. Argos smiled softly, feeling utterly proud of him – But didn't say anything, in the form of words. He just kept his gaze on him, but darted his eyes back to his plate once Mr. Plant looked over. I've been caught, He chuckled to himself, stifling a smirk.

That's too sweet, Argos thought, He woke up bright and early just for me. He never does that. Even if the world was on fire, he'd stay in bed.

And abruptly, a thought crossed his mind – Are we dating?

I mean, yes. But no. Argos told Mr. Plant that he liked him, and it was safe to assume that Mr. Plant felt the same. But, usually, wouldn't couples get together afterwards? Wouldn't they have their cute honeymoon phase, get married, and adopt kids? But Mr. Plant hadn't even declared their relationship as official or not – And so Argos was abandoned at a stalepoint, staring at his plate.

"...Mr. Plant." He spoke, his own voice unfamiliar to even himself in the midst of his own apprehension.

Mr. Plant turned his head, his petals rustling slightly in the air – He tilted his head.

"...So ..." Argos fidgeted with his sleeves, suddenly feeling unappetized – "About what happened yesterday,"

Argos stared at nothing but his own hands, his heart racing with pure fear. Does he even like me?

"...Are..." He swallowed down his panic – and finally spoke —

"Are we dating?"
