RAY CHUCKLES AT Norman's words. "Are you serious? Cut it out." He said, putting on an act. Norman kept a straight face and stared at his best friend.

"Ray, you've realized, right?" Norman started. "I set a trap for three people. I told Don it was behind my bed and Gilda was told it was in the second floor bathroom's ceiling. At least that's what I told you."

On the inside, Ray was shocked that he let Norman trick him. But then again, Norman outwits everyone. "But I actually told Don the dining hall and Gilda the library."

Ray sighed.

"The rope behind my bed ended  up being gone. So what about the other two spots? Should we go over and check them out?" Norman narrowed his eyes at the black-haired boy, challenging him.

Ray sat down on the bed only to lay back on the soft mattress. He puts his arm over his eyes,  a grin appearing on his face as he started laughing hysterically.

He moved his head to stare at Norman with a menacing look. "Aw man. And here I thought I was doing something well."

Norman furrowed his eyebrows, watching as he sat up. "Yeah, you're right. I'm the one that's been spying on Mom. So, what gave it away?"

Norman sighed, taking a step back so he stood in front of Ray. "It was when Sister first came to the house. I was disgusted with myself. I suspected you instantly. My own friend. It was really the worst case scenario, part of me doubted myself because I thought of Juliet and what she would think."

Ray's face dropped slightly when he mentioned Juliet but covered it up almost immediately. Norman caught the look and he frowned.

"I really wish I was wrong about it because you being the traitor would be quite problematic for us. But for the enemy, picking you would be the obvious choice. You would be able to provide input to our plans which would be perfect for keeping control of the situation. You were the best one for the job."

Ray smiled. "Can't get anything past you." Norman simply blinks at his friend while Ray continues. "How embarrassing. I walked right into your little trap."

"There's one more thing." Norman puts his arms to his side. "You see, I have a feeling this isn't the first time you've done this. If one of us suddenly started giving Mom tips, I doubt she would be trusting."

Then, he bent down and came into eye level with Ray. "Just how long have you been Mom's spy?"

"For a while now." Ray smirked, catching Norman off guard. "I can't remember when I wasn't her spy. Guess you could say I'm a sheepdog for a shepherd."

"You knew about all of this and helped mom out anyway?!" Norman asked him in shock and anger.

"Yeah." He shrugged.

"Everything we talked about, all the planning. It was nothing but a series of lies? What about Juliet? Don't you care about her safety?!" Norman was full of rage. "How much have you been telling mom? Can the trackers even be broken?"
