Mini Dancers, Big Drama

"Are you excited for today, Say?" Katie asks her daughter while they're driving in her Range Rover to the ALDCLA.

"Super excited. I love Miss Abby" Saylor responds, swinging her feet back and forth while she sits in her booster seat in the back of the car

"Good. Remember, always be at your best, okay? Remember what Miss Abby said?" Katie states

"Yeah" Saylor nods

Auditions 1 week ago

"I think you would make a perfect fit for my mini team. I already know it. You're gonna be my Maddie on that team, got it?" Abby tells Saylor at the end of the auditions. "I actually think you might be better, but don't tell anyone I said that" Abby whispers and Saylor and Katie laugh

End of Flashback

The mother-daughter duo soon arrived at the ALDCLA and got out of the car. There were already moms and daughters waiting outside, so Katie and Saylor walked over there. The minute the other moms and daughters saw them, they knew who they were

There was immediate chatter amongst them as Katie and Saylor stood off to the side

"No way"
"That's Katie Holmes and Saylor Cruise"
"They're here?"

After about 10/20 minutes of waiting, it was finally time for the moms and daughters to walk inside

Saylor grabbed her black dance bag that had her name imprinted on the side in gold and walked in front of her mom and into the studio. She was wearing black booty shorts and a black tank top over her black and gold, sequenced bralette. Saylor's hair was in two dutch braids going into a ponytail with a black and gold bow.

"Just follow everyone" Katie whispers to her daughter as the two continue to walk inside and over to red carpeted bleachers where the Elite Team moms were sitting

Obviously, those moms didn't want a mini team, but when they saw Katie and Saylor, they were kind of star-struck. I mean, the ALDC moms and girls are definitely recognizable and well-known, but Katie and Suri were at least 5 steps above them being incredibly well known celebrities

Once Saylor put her dance bag down on a random spot on the bottom bleacher, she took off her tank top to reveal her bralette. She then took off her black and beige Micheal Kors flip flops and changed into her dance footwear.

"You ready?" Katie asks her daughter who gives her a nod. "Okay, go into that studio room with the other girls."

"Okay, bye, mommy" Saylor hugs her mom

"Bye, Say. Good luck, but remember to always have fun. I love you" Katie kisses her daughter head before letting her go

Saylor walks through the open door and starts to stretch. One of the ALDC instructors then gets them into lines and has them start working on different things, like ballet positions for example while they wait for Abby to come in

"Hi!" Abby smiles when she sees Katie. Abby gives the woman a quick hug before she goes into the room with the minis

"Hi, girls. How's everybody?" Abby asks them

"Good" Saylor and the other girls respond

"Good?" Abby repeats as a question. "As you kids audition, you will understand it's not always your dancing. It's not always your talent. It could be your mother. All right, so this is a learning process. Okay?"

"Let me see, one, two" Abby points to Saylor and another brunette girl who's about Saylor's height. "You two, come on out."

Abby had them do the combination they were supposed to learn and have prepared for this. Saylor executed it perfectly, and Abby was stunned. She knew Saylor was a great dancer, but she didn't realize how great Saylor actually was
