"Guess what?" Trinity asked Melody. "What?" Melody grumbled. "Please tell me you're not talking about Drake again. I get that you're a couple just don't rub it in my face." Trinity quickly shuts up. She knew that Melody was sick and jealous that she was the one with the boyfriend and that Melody, well, wasn't. She was sick of her friends bragging spirit. All Melody wanted was a true family. Her mom was dead. Her dad was always out of the country for business and between her and her elder brothers Joel, Reuben, and John they had six younger siblings to raise when she wasn't working. "I'm going home," Melody replied. "My family needs me." Trinity understands. "Just be back by noon. We are filming again today, remember!" Trinity yelled from the door. "How could I forget? I'll be back in an hour," Melody replied. "Great, see you in an hour!" Trinity's shout echoed as it went down the hallway. She knew her best friend had it rough. She felt sorry for her. Between her work and raising her younger siblings, Melody had absolutely no alone time to unwind. "Time to go see what Drake is up to," Trinity says as she leaves the apartment and goes off to find him. She soon finds him at the riding pen on a horse farm just down the road. "It's my uncle's," he replies. "C'mon in." Trinity goes in and he shows her around. He then brings out the surprise. He bought her her very own horse. "She's very beautiful," replies Trinity, "but I don't know how to ride." "Well then I'll teach you. Would you like that?" Drake replies. "Then let's get started." He helps her tack up her new horse and they begin lessons right away. She's a quick learner and has soon mastered the walk and trot. "Tomorrow we will learn to two point and post," Drake tells her. "I promise you'll be cantering and galloping in due time, but for now, let's just try to master the basics before going on to the more complicated and advanced skills and riding, okay." "Okay," she replies. It's soon noon and Melody is back ready to shoot the scenes. Drake and Trinity are there a little bit after she arrives. "Where were you?" Melody whispers to Trinity. "Drake was giving me riding lessons. You should really see this guy on a horse. It's true action. I tell ya. True action." There the conversation ends and they begin shooting more scenes. They shoot seven that day maybe nine. Then Drake takes Trinity out for dinner and Melody goes home to help care for her younger siblings. It's definitely not a glamorous life for Melody. She works hard to raise money to help keep her family afloat when it all comes down to it. She works because she has to. It's just that simple.
