ch 3 the new god

Zeus pov
We were all chilling at olympus in our palaces there when we heard poseidon's trident bang on the floor. "Uh, why did poseidon call a meeting of the council now" I wondered as we entered the council hall and took our thrones. "My son has done much for the gods. He reterived Zeus' naster bolt and hades' helm of darkness. He retrieved the golden fleece, saved an ares spawn from the see of monsters and gave her the credit for retrieving the fleece. He helped that child retrieve ares' chariot. He freed Zeus' daughter from her tree. He saved an Athena spawn and Artemis from Atlas and became 1 of the 5 people to hold the sky. He defeated Ares and Hades' full army with the underworld god leading them himself. He ventured through the labyrinth and nearly got himself killed doing a favor for Hepastus. He lead the demigod forces against Kronos. He lost 8 months of his life to make sure Hera's plan to unite the Greek and Roman demigods worked. He found Hermes' cadecus and Gandyamade's chalice. He pet-sitted Hecte's pets. He has done more than Hercules and deserves a gift. Last time we offered him this, he rejected it for that Athena spawn. But now I'm sure Perseus Jackson will accept this gift to make him the 13th Olympian." Poseidon said. Down there, Perseus looked shocked. A minute after Poseidon's speech, he fainted. "Make him conscious again" I told Apollo. He touched Perseus' forehead and he woke up. "All in favour of making Perseus Jackaon known as lord Perseus/ Percy, the 13th Olympian" I said raising my hand. I only wanted to make him an Olympian to have more demigod children at both camps under my controll. Poseidon of course raised his hand. Apollo, Artemis and Hermes probably did it because they liked him. Ares probably did it so he could beat up Perseus and he would keep coming back for more. Aphrodite because she liked him. Dionyus because he wanted him to live at olympus rather than camp half- blood. Athena didn't raise her hand but yelled" what about my daughter, Annabeth Chase. My children, especially Annabeth, are always kind and never break anyone's heart." Poseidon smugly replied "Your pride is coming to an end now. Perseus' girlfriend, Annabeth broke his heart by breaking up with him." Athena eyes widened as she realized her pride had been embarrassed badly infront of the council. Reluctantly she raised her hand. Now that all the Olympians raised their hands I boomed," Perseus Jackaon do you accept becoming lord Percy?" Perseus opened his mouth to say "It would be an honour to become the 13th Olympian." "Great. I'll do it Zeus. Apollo, Aphrodite, Artemis, Hermes, Athena, come here to help." Poseidon said.
Aphrodite pov
"Sorry, son" Poseidon said as he banged the end of his trident on Percy's head. Percy fainted. "Apollo, give the gift of archery to him. Hermes, give him the gift of messengers. He can also be the curser of the gods. Artemis, extra vicviciousness for his Roman form, lord Stephenson. Athena, take away his ADHD and dyslexia and give him mental strength. Aphrodite, give him beauty and the ability to change his age and form " Poseidon ordered us. We did. Soon Poseidon touched his forehead with his trident. Golden light filled the room as his unconscious body floated to Zeus. His eyes opened and instead of being sea green, they were golden with specks of sea blue. They closed again. Soon he became more muscular as his body fell on the ground. "Well," I thought,"since he is handsome and he doesn't have a girlfriend now, I'll take him in my league."
Artemis pov
As his unconscious body fell, Aphrodite eyed it. "Great", I thought, "she forgot Hepastus and Ares and now she's after a new god."
