"Well done men, it's been brought to my attention that you have successfully contained Web Runner." Said the military general. "Yeah, well buddy if your field medics would have told me that I didn't even have to be here and that I could leave, I would've left." Web Runner said. "Obviously he is in good health, being chaotic as always." Said the general. "Ok, what on earth do you need from me exactly?" Asked Web Runner. "Look, we all know that you and Mallet Man have been closely studying this mercury rain, and it's become a big problem recently." Said an officer standing nearby. "Oh I get it, you want to know what I know, that's too bad for you." Web Runner mocked. "Fricking showboat, if you don't tell us what you know, I can easily send in Fantom Strike to blow Mallet Man's mission right now." Said the captain angrily. "I don't know what to tell you bud, I don't actually have any sources for the rain, or how it's hitting us." Web Runner said calmly. "It's captain, by the way, and if you have nothing on the rain, then what the hell are these?" Yelled the captain. He had slammed a couple of research papers onto a light desk. "Are you guys serious? You just put my speed control research papers on the desk, how stupid is the military?" Web Runner mocked again. "Is that so? Because as I can see, these papers cite evidence that you've been tracking a geographical storm that has been affecting multiple planets with known life, and not just ours." Said the captain. "You're talking about the magma rims? That's so far out, nobody could even come close without a teleportation device in or out." Web Runner stated. "Damnit Web Runner! You've been to the magma rims before! You and Mallet Man flew in together!" The general yelled. "You can't tell me there's no other way to get in. The rims are showering us with rain, idiot. But it's not safe to launch even the most tactical missions into the general vicinity of the rims, everyone would die." Said Web Runner. That's when Web Runner's phone buzzed. "One sec." Web Runner said. He picked up his phone while watching the general shake his head in disbelief. "Adam where the hell are you?!" Said Mallet Man over the phone. "I just got out of the Congo Jungle, and now I'm in Cloak's base running away from a guy that's as buff as Arnold!" Yelled Mallet Man. "No time to talk bruv." Web Runner quietly said. "Adam don't hang up on me, you son of a..." Beep. "Get out of here Web Runner, we'll call you." The captain said. Free to go, Web Runner was released back into the city to keep tracking the storm.
