The winding road, flanked by emerald tea plantations, guided them to the lake's shores. The air thickened with the sweet scent of blooming wildflowers, and the gentle chirping of birds created a soothing melody.
As I emerged from the verdant canopy, Kundala Dam Lake unfolded before me like a canvas of blues and greens. Jin exclaimed, " See Kajal....the majestic dam, stretching across the lake's breadth, seems to harness the very essence of nature. The water's glassy surface mirroring the surrounding hills, creating an illusion of perfect symmetry...isn't it.."
Mesmerizing by both the person and the environmental atmosphere, Kajal's eyes were too stubborn to move away from delight and her mouth was too endulged in visual pleasures to utter any words.
The jeep stopped as it reached. As Kajal stepped out of the misty veil that shrouded Munnar, the sun's warm rays danced across her face, beckoning her to explore the breathtaking Kundala Dam Lake. And for Jin, this enchanted scene of his love life along with serenity of Munnar hills and Kundala dam, this tranquil oasis promised an enchanting escape to him, which he both wanted to keep in a vault safe and sound and at the very moment wanted to let it free to quantify its beauty.
The moment Kajal saw the lake of dam and boats on its edge for tourists, she hold Jin's hand and ran with him in a hurry, went to the bank of lake, gave the man whatever money she had rather wasting time in asking the fare, sat on the boat and started paddling and ordering Jin also to paddle.
Jin too overwhelmed and confused by her cute, childish attitude paddled the boat as fast as he could. The moment they reached the middle of the lake Kajal screamed STOP...amd Jin got in a sudden heart attack,"woo...w..what happened Kajal is everything ok...huh...why you screamed".
Kajal stood up on the boat amd swirling in the small space there only to enjoy the misty fresh air, air flowing through valley, soft yet bright sunshine and her partner Jin's presence. Then after taking a very deep breath she sat down and opened her eyes to meet with his gaze. She started drooling him without her knowledge and to this Jin got flustered.
"The view is eyes satisfying na..!!"Jin said with a smirk but she was too indulged jn his beauty that just hummed in agreement without even moving her pupils from his eyes an inch. Jin's smirk grew a slight and he came a lil closer to her face,"isn't it too naturally melting with the environment's essence..!!" Kajal again hummed, her eyes were now showing only his reflection.
Jin came more closer, pulled Kajal by her waist towards him to reduce the irritating distance between them,"doesnt this beautifully beautiful view in front of your eyes needs your precious appraisal of words to hinder its heartbeat from being a blast...??", Kajal just looking at him with her eyes like it was her only work in the damn whole universe to do. "Breathe, babe, breath don't be breathless from the beginning"Jin whispered it on her skin near her ear and she melted there only.
Suddenly the bubble of Kajal broke and she regained her posture, Jin there was smirking and Kajal looked at him and become red. She tried to change to topic,"so lets play a game..!! You will describe one sentence on this place and then me..lets see who has seen more beauty in the place than it has...ready??", Jin as usual with warm smile nodded.
Kajal gently closing her eyes to feel it,"Soft lapping of water against the hill",Jin while looking at her,"Cool breeze carrying scents of blooming wildflowers", Kajal,"ohh nice, Ummm... warm sunlight dancing across the lake's surface ",Jin,"ok..then..birds singing sweet melodies from hidden perches".
All this crosstalk continues, Kajal,"a family of elephants grazing on the lake's shores", Jin caressing her cheeks to which she again got lost, "dont worry Kajal, one day our family will be enjoying time together here like them."
To this Kajal's eyes became teary, Jin noticed it, cupped her face, caressing her cheeks with his thumbs,"when I say it I mean it".
Kajal asked,"You directly want to marry me, not going in relation, doing time pass, and all..huh..". Jin's got a lil hurt thinking that she think this kind of things for him that he just wants her for time pass, but he smiled in pain,looked at her,"you know Kajal, once a person gets his life in another person he or she cant think to pass time without them, they got related by heart and soul", looking at other side and whispering,"but think only I am attached like this..."
But then he said,"umm I think we should leave its getting dark we need to reach at top station also." Aa d started paddling, reached the dhore and started walking alone towards the jeep, Kajal became clueless of his sudden change in behaviour. They both sat in jeep and started their journey again, but Kajal's gaze was fixed on him only but he inspite of feeling gaze remained to pretend unaware of it.
