"You'll think we'll find someone nice?" My friend, Jay, said from beside me.

"I don't know, man." I glanced over at him who was already typing stuff into his computer. "I'm not sure I want to..."

"Come on, you're such a party pooper, Luke." He pouted, making me want to punch him in the face.

"Know what? Fuck it, let's do this." I gave in.

It wasn't the first time we were doing this, and definitely not the last. As he searched up some random dating website, I started scrolling through my notifications on my phone, no texts, no calls, no nothing. I'm definitely a popular person. Notice the sarcasm.

"I found a hot one!" He exclaimed, after a while, I was still on my phone, and I didn't really care about it, cause the girl he found was probably going to fall in love with him anyways.

"Cool." I faked a smile and looked up from my screen, taking a glance at the girl on his screen. "Meh."

"You're so difficult." He sighed, then clicked on another girl.

"What's the rush anyways?" I asked him, making him turn his whole body towards me and stare at me.

"What's the rush? What's the rush Luke?! Are you seriously asking me this?" He looked so surprised.

"Yeah, I am." I raised my eyesbrows and he rolled his eyes at me. "If you want a girl, find one, go right ahead." He smirked at me and turned back at his computer, whilst I turned in circles on my chair. "Weeee..."

After a while, he spoke up: "Found one, she's sexy..." He trailed, he seemed to be reading something. I stopped turning since I was getting dizzy and stared at the girl he was looking at, but then after a couple of seconds, my stare flickered over my phone, that had just recieved a message.

It was from a number that wasn't in my contacts... and I didn't remember giving out my phone number that day.

I swiped right and stared at the message. "Hey Rebecca!" Of course, it had to be the wrong number, who would even text me today, all of my friends were on a trip to Canada, well, except Jay, but he's not really my friend.

I sighed before texting back. "Sorry to disappoint, I'm Luke."

"Oh.. Sorry to bother you." The mysterious person texted back.

I glanced over at Jay, that was almost drooling over his keyboard and looked back at my phone. "You're not, trust me."
