Georgie's POV-

It was about half 4 and the sun had started going down. It was a lot quieter because all the little kids had left so I decided it was time for me and Mitch to make a quick escape. Perri and (your name) were still in deep conversation with (your name)'s occasional flirty laugh. It was cooler as well and all I had on was a summer dress. I wondered whether (your name) was starting to get a bit cold and then decided she would be fine as long as Perri was there. I nudged Mitch and we slowly began to stand up and then we made a run for it, he was holding onto my wrist lightly just enough that I could keep up with him otherwise I probably would have been walking it out. We got to the park entrance so we could relax and just walk, I was frantically trying to catch my breath, I have never ran so fast in my life. Suddenly I felt really cold even though it wasn't even that cold outside. Obviously Mitch could see I was freezing because he unzipped his jumper and then wrapped it over my shoulders. What a gentleman. I smiled at him and thought maybe this was a sign that he might just like me more than friends. Then my thoughts were confirmed. Just like in the films it began to chuck it down with rain and Mitch held my hands and then pulled me into a hug. I pulled away and decided to take a risk and made the first move bringing him into a burning kiss, he didn't show any signs of disapproval.

"I love you Georgie"

"I love you too"

Then we began walking home but we were now holding hands with our fingers intertwined.

Mitch's POV-

Georgie nudged me and I knew this was my signal to leave. We made a swift exit and when we got to the gates I looked at Georgie and she was shivering like mad. I decided to make a good impression of myself by giving her my jumper and placing it gently over her shoulders. She smiled at me then I felt a drop of water on my now bare arms. Oh no rain! Now she is going to want to run home to get out of it so I won't be able to talk to her privately. I decided I am going to have to make the first move. I held her hands and then hugged her and she seemed to relax when she was in my arms. Maybe she'd wanted this as much as I had all along. Then to my surprise she kissed me and it felt amazing. I loved her so much.
