Tayo's eyes locked onto Nneoma's, determination burning within.
"We'll outsmart Amaka," Tayo whispered.
Ugo nodded. "I know someone who can help."
He dialed a number, and a gruff voice answered.
"Kofi, old friend," Ugo said. "We need your expertise."
Kofi, a former security expert, arrived promptly.
"Amaka's hired mercenaries," Kofi warned. "We must move."
Tayo, Nneoma, Ugo, and Kofi devised a plan.
"Split up," Kofi suggested. "Make it harder for Amaka to track."
Nneoma's grip on Tayo's hand tightened.
"I won't leave you," Tayo reassured.
As they separated, Kofi provided Tayo and Nneoma with communication devices.
"Stay alert," Kofi cautioned.
Tayo and Nneoma navigated the crowded streets, evading potential threats.
Suddenly, Tayo's device beeped.
Kofi's voice crackled through. "Amaka's men spotted Ugo. Converge on his location."
_The Chase:_
Tayo and Nneoma rushed toward Ugo's location, dodging through alleys.
Amaka's mercenaries closed in.
"Tayo, we're surrounded!" Nneoma cried.
Tayo shielded Nneoma, his eyes scanning for escape routes.
A narrow alleyway beckoned.
"Follow me!" Tayo shouted.
As they sprinted through the alley, gunfire echoed.
_The Escape:_
Tayo pushed Nneoma into a nearby taxi.
"Get her to safety!" Tayo ordered the driver.
Nneoma's eyes locked onto Tayo's.
"Come with me!" Nneoma pleaded.
Tayo hesitated.
"I'll distract Amaka's men," Tayo said. "Go!"
The taxi sped away.
Tayo faced the mercenaries alone.
Tayo stood firm, facing Amaka's mercenaries.
"I won't let you harm Nneoma," Tayo declared.
The mercenaries snickered, closing in.
Tayo's fighting skills kicked in, taking down the first attacker.
More arrived, surrounding Tayo.
Just as all hope seemed lost...
Kofi appeared, guns blazing.
"Take cover!" Kofi shouted.
Tayo dove behind a nearby dumpster.
Kofi's expertise took down several mercenaries.
Amaka emerged, eyes blazing.
"You fools!" Amaka spat.
Tayo charged at Amaka.
A fierce hand-to-hand combat ensued.
Tayo landed a solid punch.
Amaka stumbled.
