Beginner Notes... Or Some Shit Like That

Life is confusing, they say.

It's clearly not. Or at least it isn't from my view. I'm so, like, smart, you guys. Totally.

Alright, here's the main deal that I should probably explain:

People don't name their kids after objects. That's horrifying. If some young couple named their child 'Balloony', I'd be horrified, as I should be. But of course, there's always something weird going on at a high school. And that weird something was created, at the start of freshman year, by none other than Mr Finn Inferno. He called himself 'Firey'', and eventually the trend caught on, so everyone went by an object name. I got 'Match', which kind of means I set things alight. Indeed I don't set things alight; I don't do THAT type of illegal shit. That was fun while it lasted, but now we're back to just normal names. However, there are some old-fashioned folks who still cling on to the trend thing and refuse to let go. Normally I'd just tell them to fuck off and leave them out of the equation, but apparently we're supposed to be inclusive nowadays, so I guess whenever I introduce a new person, I'll have to put the object they are after their name in brackets. That's great.

Okay, just... don't be freaked, stay in your seat, because I deal with bullshit like eight times a week on average. So relax.

Okay, this isn't even proper chapter 1, what were you expecting? This is just some notes. Uhhh... bonus notes here. Mainly, this takes place in junior year, so after priorities. There won't be spoiler, but just saying, nothing about this will affect priorities. Probably.
Just saying, this is just about a bfdi fanfic, it's barely a bfdi fanfic. The only thing that's similar to bfdi is the personalities. And maybe the dynamics too but literally everything else has been changed; the characters have been completely humanized, there is no competition... it's a lotta shit.
Also, yes, this is class of '09 inspired
