Well, that was short-lived, and I'm grateful for it, but damn! It felt like an anticlimax. You build up this idea of how something will unfold, and when reality falls short, it's disappointing. Psychopaths go through similar experiences; it's just that certain emotions are heightened while others are muted. Isn't it called neurodivergence? I often wonder why psychopaths are so vilified and misunderstood. Don't "normal" people inflict harm? Haven't you ever acted selfishly? Is it only psychopaths who kill? Then what about soldiers-are they labeled as psychopaths? Do you support them? Support war? People need a villain to blame; it makes them feel righteous.

I'm aware of the things I've done that aren't kind, and killing is among them. But as Ted Bundy once said, "I mean there's so much more to me than this guy that goes around doin' those crazy things... So much more."

Sitting in the dimly lit diner of a truck stop, the hum of engines outside mixes with the clatter of dishes. The air is thick with the smell of fried food and coffee, offering a strange comfort. I plan my escape to the hills where I'll push myself with a grueling climb to see if the fire within still burns as fiercely.

I must remain sharp, stay focused, and never allow myself to grow weak.
