The Radio Demon was a being of poise and control in almost every regard. From his careful grip on his power as an Overlord courtesy of his magic, to his carefully tailored appearance, to his emotions reigned behind a perpetual smile, he wove a steady command of practically every aspect of his life, guarding himself from any who would seek to challenge him.

He'd battled countless beings who had attempted to bring him under their sway, dominating them all, and yet Alastor found himself completely and utterly shattered by the demoness laying at his side, perhaps one of the most gentle beings he'd ever known. His maroon eyes swept over the smaller figure, and there was nothing to do but concede to the knowledge of just how bound in her he truly was - that for all the ways he was able to control her, he was lost to her entirely.

The Princess of Hell's hair was strewn beneath her like its own golden sheet, the locks tousled both by their previous activities as well as her sleep, though some strands were laying on top of her as well now, as she shifted in her slumber. Trailing gold sparkled across her alabaster skin, down towards the valley of her breasts, and he reached towards her to brush the locks away.

His hand trailed lightly across the swell of her chest; and from his touch Charlie stirred a little in her sleep. Even from that subtle movement the deer demon felt a flash of want spark in him as his companion lay so peacefully, vulnerable like she was to no one else but himself.

His partner. His mate. And within her, his essence fused with her own.

Some years from now that energy would blossom into a soul all its own - a child forged from the two of them, inheritor of both their magics.

He leaned over the blonde demoness, the urge to claim her lips coming over him with an almost alarming intensity. Her rosy eyes fluttered open sleepily as he kissed her, and she gave a happy hum, surrendering to his mouth and touch utterly.

Alastor kissed down her throat to the mounds of her breasts, and before he knew it he had taken her again. She was clearly still tired, not gripping him with nearly as much fervor during this round, but the princess sang just as sweetly in her passion, snuggling against him in her afterglow.

Sleep came a little easier after this latest round, though it didn't last long; and this time when the Radio Demon rose he tucked a blanket over his lover's moonlit frame first, lest he be tempted again.

She mumbled sleepily as he kissed her hair, blearily asking what was wrong.

"All's well, my darling, just going out for a stroll. Enjoy your rest."

Charlie murmured something as she drifted back off, limp and exhausted from their activities, and the sight filled him with a masculine pride as he pulled on his clothes.

He Phased off into the darkness of the Umbral Sea, letting himself drift in his pleasant haze, though he stopped as soon as he saw the darkened rainbow of the Horizon in the distance.

"I'm surprised you'd venture so far from her side," the spectre bound to his thoughts noted.

"We're not so far, and considering what she's putting herself through, she deserves a bit of rest," Alastor shrugged. "I'm surprised you were so willing to entertain her strategy, considering your attitude towards her when this all began!"

Ruby eyes regarded him passively. "Your own nature toward her was different then as well, or have you forgotten?"

He hadn't. "I couldn't have foreseen such a shift in our partnership," the deer demon muttered, shaking his head. In many ways their whole life together still seemed so unreal, and he feared that it might vanish into another dream like the ones that had plagued his soul before.
