Scene Setting: Rome, Italy, 1097. 21.00 PM.
A woman, named Lucia Berlusconi, stepped on the stairs, heading towards the room of his father.
"Dad! Dinner's ready!" She shout, and yet, there's no answer. It's uncommon for her dad, Luca Berlusconi, to be silence in his room, right?
And then she goes towards the room of his father, and knock it. "Enter..." She heard the voice inside, it belongs to her father. She opens it, and she saw her father sits in his attic, looking over photographs on his desk, lit only by a gas dim light.
"Are you alright? Mom's waiting for you downstairs" Lucia approaches her father and sees the photos on the desk. The photos are monochrome and well-worn, depicting photographs of the war on the old-days during Italian War of Independence, including a saluting Italian soldier.
"Incredible... these all yours?" She said in awe as she looks over it one by one.
Luca chuckled, before he nod and speak "Yes... That time... that time is really incredible"
She noticed the photo of the saluting soldier, and look over it "That's you? I don't know you're handsome in youth" She said, her tone shift into a teasing.
Luca sighs, before speaking solemnly. "That's not me. That's Matteo"
Lucia wide-eyed in surprise, noticing her mistake "O- oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-"
"No, no, it's okay, tesoro. It's time I told you about what happened to him." Luca replied, before taking a deep breath, and starting to telling her the story of old days, the days of War of Italian Independence.

The scene shifts to the time when the photograph was taken, at an Italian base in the Alps. Soldiers shuffle around, preparing for a battle.
Luca (voiceover): It was during our last battle together. Just a few days after our twenty-first birthday. My brother's battalion had been ordered to capture a fort deep into enemy territory. I wasn't going with him.
Matteo hugs and waves Luca farewell.
Luca (voiceover): I was part of a special unit with a different mission.
Luca suits up in a set of metal body armor, and readies and readies his weapon, an MG 08 Portable unit, while the other Arditi personnel load thei weapon, and readied themselves.
Luca (voiceover): Our task was to support Matteo's battalion. We were a proud unit. We changed the war for Italy. The Arditi.
