I never knew where I came from, nor who my parents were. My adoptive mother Sarah Clark, the woman who found me and who has a huge heart to be able to take care of a boy who looked about 3 years old who showed up on her doorstep, who she named Dylan. At the time she was 27 years old, married to William Clark and had a newborn daughter, Selena. They adopted me, fed me and here I am at 17 in a small town walking down the school hallway to meet my best friend Ryan.
Ryan:
Liam:
- Hey bro! - He said.
- Hello, let's go.
When we arrived at the court Liam was waiting for us in the stands.
- Guys, you took so long, we ended up running out of time reservations. - Liam said greeting us and pointing to the rest of the boys playing football.
- The best way is to wait, while we play on the cell phone, but stay alert if they call us. - I replied by sending and opening my cell phone.
They were about to open their cell phones and I interrupted, pointing in a direction. At the top of the school, near the court, there was a girl sitting on the edge, her legs dangling, holding a book and wearing wireless headphones.
- Isn't that a little dangerous? - I asked curious and surprised.
- Not for her. - Liam.
- Correct. -Ryan.
- What does that mean? - I ask even more curious. - Why isn't it dangerous for her? Who is she?
- That's Ayla Fox. - Ryan responded by asking on his cell phone.
- I've never heard of her.
- Exactly. -Ryan. - Liam, could you explain it to Dylan?
- Ayla is an extremely mysterious girl, even though she is the most beautiful girl in the city, she is always alone, she has no friends in the city, no parents, she lives alone at the end of the city near the forest. She is always surrounded by butterflies and birds, once she arrived at school with a frog on her shoulder, from that day on the girls don't approach her. Boys also don't get close because of girls' gossip.
- What do the girls say about her?
- That she is schizophrenic. -Ryan.
- That's very cruel! - I said indignantly.
- Yes, but the world is not fair. -Liam.
- Dylan! - Selena says to me, climbing into the stands. - Give me a piece of sandwich. - She came and took a bite of the sandwich that I didn't even put in my mouth.
-Selena. - I want to ask her if she also does these things.
- Yes?
- You say Ayla is schizophrenic?
- Of course! We had lunch together once when I transferred to school, she is a fantastic person and is absolutely not schizophrenic. Girls are cruel in spreading this nonsense. Sometimes we talk, but since we're not from the same year it's a bit difficult to communicate.
- I knew you wouldn't disappoint me. - I smiled at her.
- You are the best. - Ryan looks at her with bright eyes.
- I'm watching you with my sister! - I pushed Ryan.
♥-♥
I heard screams in the middle of my living room hallway and the noise of things hitting, when I got closer I heard:
- A MOUSE!!!!!!
- KILL, KILL!!!!
The boys in the other room were trying to step on the poor guy. It was a small white mouse. Before I could interview HER.
Yes, SHE.
AYLA FOX.
- No, kill him! - She caught the mouse with her hand and put it in the window so it could go away. - He is also a living being and deserves to live.
I heard some girls call her weird.
She turned and her gaze met mine.
WOW!
