1st year. ☾*✲⋆.
Eloise thought that no one in the world was or have been more excited to start at Hogwarts more than her. She was fully prepared to leave her mansion of a home.
The thing was though, it was 6AM and the train leaves Kings Cross Station at 11AM. All her things were packed in her large briefcase, she had showered, put on her clothes and put her things by the door, including her owl, Ruby. The only thing she had left to do was to eat breakfast and brush her teeth.
She knew that her one year old younger brother was asleep and so were her parents.
Or so she thought.
As she walked past her parent's bedroom, she heard weird noises and something close to someone punching the wall. She had heard that quite often and once more chose to ignore it and walk downstairs.
She was so happy so she re-read all the letters that her friend, Florence Wood, had sent while the two girls shared their excitement.
The read the first letter.
Eloise! It's less than one week left and I'm sooo excited!! I hope we both be in the same house because we're best-friends.
My mum said that she and her best-friend got in the same house and had fun. So you and me are gonna have funnier at Hogwarts!!
I wish that you were here :( I miss you but we will see each other on September 1st and sit with each other on the train.
I really really hope we get in same house and dad said that we can wish houses with the hat? I don't know.

This letter made Eloise really happy, so the two of them had sent letters to each other the whole week, sharing their excitement. She would love to share the excitement with her brother, Alfred, but he couldn't really understand since he would start next year.
Since she had hours left before she had to leave, she went to her father's home office to send her letter with their family owl, Gryff, as in Gryffindor since her parents were in that house.
She went into the office, grabbed a quill, ink and parchment and began to write a letter to Florence.

I woke up way too early so now I have nothing to do!! I couldn't sleep this night, all I thought about was Hogwarts!!
I can't wait to get there but I'm also going to miss my family. I love them. And Alfred will be alone too :( but other hand he has many other friends to be with and I'm also back in December anyway.
Who are you most excited to meet? I want to see Headmistress McGonagall, she is so epic. I also heard that she is a very strict professor. Well well, I hope I never get a detention...
