☾*✲⋆.

For a good ten minutes after the train left platform 9 3/4, Eloise sat alone in an empty compartment. She had a 7 hour train ride ahead of her and she thought that she could at least get a bit comfortable before going up to look after Florence since she left her cousins, since they wanted to sit with one of their friends.

She looked outside of the window to watch the beautiful landscape outside. It was a sunny day and she could see the beautiful flower field.

She knew that Hogwarts was hours away since she traveled from London to Scotland, but she couldn't wait to see Hogwarts for herself. Her parents had described the castle for her and Alfred, but they had also said that no description could make any justice.

She also couldn't wait to make more friends. She loves Florence and her cousins. But she also loves to talk to people and make friends, even though she has a slightly shy personality.

She also looked forward to meet her friends that she hadn't seen in ages.

Her parents got many friends at Hogwarts but only a few close friends. So naturally, she grew up to know a few of them. Florence and Eloise had known each other since birth, since Mrs. Katie Wood were best friends and got pregnant at the same time, really.

She also knew Alice Longbottom. Neville Longbottom and her parents were close friends but rarely saw each other. But since they met often when their daughters were little, their little girls became friends quickly.

She missed Alice dearly and hoped that she would find her soon.

Her thoughts were interrupted as she heard a knock on her compartment door. It opened and revealed Florence and Alice who both had wide smiles on their faces.

Eloise gasped and ran over to the two girls to embrace them at the same time in a trio hug.

"Hi!" Alice giggled.

"Hi! I was just thinking about you both and how much I missed you both. It's almost like you could hear my thoughts." Eloise said with a big smile on her face.

"It's the best- friend senses." Florence said as the three girls pulled away from each other to sit down. Florence and Eloise next to each other and Alice opposite to them.

"I didn't see any of you on the platform! Oh, maybe it was because I was so busy with my family, I bet you two were too. How are you? What did you do during the summer? Oh I'm so excited sorry-"

"Eloise," Alice cut her off with a light laugh. "Breathe in and out."

"Sorry." She responded sheepishly.

"Well, my summer's been great! We went to Iceland to visit the Minister of Magic there and he was a really nice man. My brother could never shut up about the quidditch World Cup while we were there too. Of course he triggered dad's never ending talk about quidditch and how much he loves it. The two of them are crazy." Florence groaned miserably.
